Why are people impressed with Potter, am I missing something? Swansea are doing better without him after losing their star striker. Brighton have no wins in six, only win was the dire Watford on the opening day, to me he is doing awful, they will go down or be very, very close if they continue like this. I don't rate Hughton as a Premier League manager but Potter isn't doing any better, if not worse

Fabio Borini is on the bench but has to be on the luckest footballers of all time, Chelsea, Roma, Liverpool, relegated at Sunderland somehow gets a move to Ac Milan for the last few years, probably worth a bomb himself for someone who was so bad as a striker he got put on the wing as he "works hard"

They have totally changed their style. Going to take time to get it right but from what I can tell there style is a lot more fan-friendly than Hughton (and I like Crissy H of Forest Gate)

Lukaku just settled the Milan derby. Great header and decent movement. Started off well in Milano.

That’s the Allardycian view of the world for sure.

I would say it’s a bit like when we’d lost four on the bounce at the start of last season you could clearly see the technical improvement and that it would inevitably bring reward eventually.

Barca give up a late penalty awarded by VAR - no doubt, handball, easy call...

2-0 Granada - things not going well at the Camp Nou

I am pretty sure that the stats said NO shots on goal but I might be wrong.....at least up to about 80 minutes they hadn't....

The start to the season has shown that four of the “top six” are pretty ordinary. Liverpool and City are absolutely miles ahead of the rest. I think it’s highly likely we’ll see one, possibly two, teams break into that top six.

Spurs very harshly had a goal disallowed. Son's arm was offside and it took VAR ages to make the decision. If it's that tight, don't bother.
If it was only an arm, that should never be offside.
How does an arm or even 2 arms being offside, give anyone an unfair advantage ffs?

Potter's definitly got Brighton playing the right way. He's changed their style completely and they just need to be a bit more clinical in the final third. I doubt they'll be bothering the relegation places this season

good of Watford to take away our worst performance of the season title. They stopped trying after 50 seconds ! we were at least in it until after half time.
I wonder if they will sack the new manager soon if he loses the next few games ? they like a sacking up there !

the old carthorse came on for 8 mins at Newcastle, thank god we let him go . awful footballer nowadays and no doubt injured soon !

Leicester looking good and able to get in top 6 or higher. who will join them ? wolves and everton look unlikely and I doubt Bournemouth will. could be our turn if we stay committed and consistent.

I like this from Matt Le Tissier...

For clarification
1- clear and obvious doesn’t apply to offsides
2- accuracy on offsides isn’t accurate to the nano second but its more accurate than the human eye
3- var offside decisions are consistent in their application
4- don’t expect perfection, just expect better 👍🏻

Just get on with it.

The sort of driving run that Antonio provides.

On this showing I'd have him in the team, ahead of Yarmolenko.

Chelsea goal ruled out by VAR because Mount was offside about half an hour ago :?

to be fair to Chel$ki...I don't see them as being 2 goals worse than the Red Shyte half of Liverpool.

they've had a go, had a goal harshly ruled out and been naive at defending set pieces.

Adrian and the rest of his mates have been time wasting for about 10 minutes now, and that was barely into the second half.

Chel$ki back in it with a cracker of a goal (a rarity) from Kante.

the w*nkfest from commentators for the Bin Dippers really makes me gag....
