Think Bournemouth are a bridge too far - good, settled side.

Yeah, but Man Utd are dire. Unless OGS goes I have a feeling they could finish below us and Bournemouth

We don't like playing this lot normally so I'd be very happy with a draw here.
At least with VAR now in operation, Wilson won't be able to put the ball in with his hand again....we hope!?

Re: ⚽ AFC Bournemouth v West Ham United: Match Thread
so lanzini has made a miraculous recovery - does he start ?
has fredericks recovered fully as the thought of zabaleta at RB is a nightmare. Bournemouth are a tough pacey side. something we are not !
assuming all injuries are cleared up I would expect the team to be
fabianski
fredericks diop ogbonna cresswell
noble rice lanzini
yarmolenko haller Anderson
subs martin masuaka Balbuena Snodgrass wilshere fornals ajeti
I was thinking a draw earlier but I reckon we will bounce back and win a thrilling game. MOTM Fabianski !
2-1 hammers haller and Anderson sending us 2nd for a few hours !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COYI

Tough, tough game coming up. Won't say it's crucial or that the result proves anything long-term. We're scrappin' as usual, but with more hope and (so far) success.

I expect a defeat so would be pretty content with a point and happy as a pig in **** with three.

Not going to this one as it’s open day at Acton depot and I’m a train spod - but reckon we’re on for an unlucky one

A big test for us. Expect an entertaining game. Got a soft spot for The Cherries - cracking stadium, knowledgeable fans, positive approach to the beautiful game, proper "team" who work hard for each other. I just hope the WH players have regained focus after the Oxford game and recognize the threat that Howe's squad present. As many of you have said, Callum Wilson is nailed on to score. Fancy us scrapping through 2-1, Haller wonder goal and perhaps a Noble penalty. COYI

There should be special arrangements made for players like Wilson of Bournemouth and Glen Murray from Brighton. To avoid their inevitable goals we may as well just stick a man on them, neutralise the threat and make it 10v10

Re: ⚽ AFC Bournemouth v West Ham United: Match Thread
Oxford away never happened, bit like the Bourne identity, all forgotten....so we move on.
Back to Yarmolenko, Anderson and Haller as our top 3.
Haller and Yarmo are due some goals too!
Love to see Lanzini back but if not then Fornals needs to get himself back on track so needs a big game.
Bournemouth are a good side but they're gonna slip up at some point, might as well be tomorrow.
If we can keep a clean sheet for the first 15 then bring ourselves into the game then I think weve got a good chance of getting all 3 points.
I'm going with a 2-0 win for us.

Re: ⚽ AFC Bournemouth v West Ham United: Match Thread
Interestingly, the Bournemouth forums seem to be as worried about us as we are about them and most would be happy with a draw. Also, most are rather complimentary of West Ham, its fans and this site with the majority looking forward to a good game. Bravo.
