We were **** today. ****ing chokers :thdn:

Not enough desire in this team, Noble and Rice aside.

Haller is a lost fart up top when Lanzini and Anderson don't pull their weight. Hate to say it but we need to upgrade Noble ASAP - he's got the desire but his legs are gone. Combine that with the soft players around him in midfield and we're just not effective against the hardworking, utilitarian teams like palace

Are you seriously digging out Noble? His passing was exceptional today, as for pace he’s never had any...ever, his legs haven’t gone he’s looking as good as ever.

To me we was well and truly robbed that was never a penalty. Kouyate was less that 2 yards away and lofted the ball up rice jumped and turned was never intentional or in an unnatural position. Why didnt VAR check that I dont know doesn't change the fact that we were awful and very pedestrian throught and Anderson had an absolute shocker. In a way credit to palace as they well and truly stifled us going forwards but my god all they do is dive and moan especially zaha hes the biggest cheat going.

Wow. I’ve not been this disappointed in a loss in a long time. I’m sure I’ll have a better perspective tomorrow.

Just feels like that this loss puts things into perspective when I thought we would be challenging for that 4th to 6th but realistically we will only ever be 8th and beyond.

I might be have my West Ham blinkers on but I think this is a talented side and we aren’t seeing the best from our players. I just don’t think this Pellegrini system is going to ever allow us to go to the next level because with us always pushing that high line we will always concede goals.

Oh well. At least we aren’t Tottenham at the moment. 😂😂

You don’t have an effing clue.
A bit if everything apart from pace. You think he can play every game? You think he has another season in him next year? I'm not blaming Noble for today's result. But I'm not blind. I can see he runs out of puff with 20 minutes to go most games. The reason he isn't subbed is there is no one to fill his spot in the team. Anderson was superb today. But its all down to perspective isn't it.

Yeah noble was our best player today. Always wanted the ball and played some great passes.

You could tell from kick off that we weren't going to win that. They are a proper team, organised and professional with legs all over the park. Our lazy 5 a side team turned up again. Only Dec is physically able to compete from that midfield 3 today.

VAR...it's all well and good giving the authorities more power to get things right but if the people getting more control are a bunch of morons it's just frustratingly pointless exercise.

Thought we generally played ok , created enoigh chances and should've got at least a ppint.

Palace had the rub of the green today and nicked a couple of points.

We're not scoring enough, we're not getting enough players in the opposition box often enough.

Disappointed but not overly crtical of what i saw.

Top 6 last year away from home evidently...

Nobes ain't the issue for me.
For all the natural gift of Anderson, Lanzini etc, we seem a little predictable.

Personally I don't think anybody in our team merited anything above 6 today and I will be surprised if anybody does. Maybe Haller for his work rate and goal, which was smartly finished

We played pretty well overall and didn’t take our chances.

They took theirs.

Penalty gave them a route back into it I think.

Infuriating.

Fmob, we lose a game and the Noble haters are out in force immediately ?

He played well today . . Again. Or should i say, yet again.

Nobody had a shocker today, nobody.

Sometimes you just lose.
