Three very solid Centre backs , one thing for certain we cannot allow Haller to be quite so isolated tomorrow

One of them is the bloke I told ye all about a few seasons back when we wanted to get a new CB, John Egan is from Cork and I watched him play as a young fellow where he stood out a mile at underage level.

His dad was one of the all time great Kerry GAA footballers and now his son has a couple of full caps for Ireland as well.

A very good solid pro with his head screwed on, doesn't like all the razzle dazzle of fame etc..and is a lovely young man.

Be interesting to see how he does tomorrow.

I would like to see Haller come to collect the ball, turn and run with it a bit more. He does mostly tend to just try to lay it off. Although tomorrow he will probably be mostly alone up against three centre backs so perhaps that won't happen just yet. But ffs someone in a West Ham shirt please try to actually shoot on target from further out than 6 yards.

I agree. I'm a little disappointed there's been so much reference to him and that whole quagmire in the last week. It sort of feels like the expression of a guilty conscience when there shouldn't be one. Imo it should be the blades fans bleating on about it, not us.

I think that some people enjoy having a little spice to add to a game. Fair enough, that's up to them. It's quite common in football.
I'm a little bored by it myself. If you look at the Sheffield Utd forums, they're more likely to be laughing at us for some of us still being so obsessed about the whole affair. Many agree that it was still in their own hands & just don't care anymore, or bear a grudge.
A few still are incensed about it but I would say that they are more in the minority. For us, as well. Both sets of fans were entirely innocent.
For me, tomorrow's match is more about two famous clubs, both with great histories. The 'Tevez affair', barely a footnote.
Let's enjoy the game!

We need to come out all guns blazing. You do not beat a team that is organised defensively but strolling around in midfield and trying to walk the ball into penalty area.

Patience is the key tomorrow. This lot are very well organised, but when they attack, they do so in numbers, with runners. Keep it tight and maintain concentration, particularly at set plays and no switching off at corners. While it is still 0-0, we are not losing and eventually, our little bit of extra class will make the difference. Fall behind and we'll have a devil's own job to pull it back

Yep I agree, worst thing we can do is just wait for an opening. Apparently we have the quality to open them up? Yet to see it so far.

Got to really take the game to them, and keep them on the back foot.
