Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
Typical Sullivan ,a striekr or a winger will fix all our problems for him!Cellar-door wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2019 1:48 pm It really is Sully's entire plan every window.... not playing well.... NEW STRIKER.
But we aren't playing well because we have no midfield players ....
NEW STRIKER WILL FIX THAT RIGHT UP
Who will get the ball to the striker?
NEW STRIKER WILL CREATE GOALS FROM NOTHING
Who will stop the opponent from strolling down the middle and overloading our defense?
NEW STRIKER WILL SCORE MANY GOALS, NEW STRIKER WILL HOLD UP PLAY FOR 89 MINUTES
It´s like he doesn´t see any need in centre midfielders or defenders

You'd think such an attack-minded philosophy would enamour him to more posters here.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
that is true. more money I guess as that is all we offer and why we end up with players who don't give a f !
realistically I can see a free striker aka giroud or Balotelli coming in.
maybe this toure guy if he is 10-15m
un til they decide who the manager is then its pointless us looking at anyone ! that is why they need to sack him now or should have done weeks ago.

If we bring in a striker to partner Haller, he needs to cover a lot of ground, do a lot of running, and pretty much do a similar job to Antonio.
Shame we didn't buy Rondon.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
If this carries on I could see RIce and Anderson push for moves next month.
That WILL be fun.
Of course we'll waste the money. No decent player wants to come here.
Same old West Ham

We should be looking at the Championship and the “lesser” European leagues. We need to bring in players who see West Ham and the Premier League as a step up, rather than a sideways step or even a step down, and are just coming to us because we can pay decent wages.

Ibrahimovic may be coming back to Everton. We'll probably try to hijack that...Cellar-door wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2019 1:48 pm It really is Sully's entire plan every window.... not playing well.... NEW STRIKER.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
Not necessarily Jan, but certainly over the next two windows, I think we need to move Rice back to partner Diop (would sort CD for a good few years assuming neither left).
Then spend well over £100m in order of priority:
1. CM (destroyer)
2. CM (energetic all rounder)
3. RB (that can defend)
4. CF (energetic, pacy, strong - doesn't necessarily need to bang in the goals)
5. Reserve GK
6. CF (poacher)
7. CM (good passer)
Need to ship out the following:
Roberto (free)
Zabaleta (free)
Yarmolenko (£5m)
Wilshire (free)
Sanchez (free)
Ajeti (£3m)
Would give us a much more balanced team and the ability to play different formations.
The likes of Noble and Snodgrass can then genuinely be squad players as I'm sure was intended rather than 1st teamers.
We should also remove the Conservatives from power, stop chopping the forests and all be nice to each other for a bit.
I'm living in dream world I know....away day defeats at Luton and Reading await.

Jarrod Bowen, Hull City. Impressive goalscoring for past 2 seasons, and this season on fire! 14 goals & 4 assists in 21.Burnley Hammer wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 10:08 am If we bring in a striker to partner Haller, he needs to cover a lot of ground, do a lot of running, and pretty much do a similar job to Antonio.

Age 22 and quoted as saying his best position is "just off the main striker or number 10".
Apparently not long left on his contract.
Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
In : Sander Berge £20m, Luca Jovic Loan, at least one full back.
Out: Sanchez, Wilshere, Yarmolenko, Snodgrass, Zabaleta
Sander Berge and Luca Jovic on loan would allow as to play 4-4-2.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
If this club has any proper ambitions then Roberto, Masuaku, Zabaleta, Sancez and Ajeti will be sold and replaced in Jan
Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
He´s excelling in the midfield anchor role and should not and will not make another position his primary

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
One player in the next window is all we need to climb the table. Its simple;
Luca Jovic
He is missing Haller and Haller is definitely missing him. These two up front and everything is rosy.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
Jovic would be a fantastic signing but we need a better centre midfidler alongside Rice and full backsNavyhammer wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2019 7:32 am One player in the next window is all we need to climb the table. Its simple;
