This is rather strange.......Mikloskosglovebag wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2020 10:54 pm Ironing board single handedly dismantled everyone here on the Pelligrini argument. He (in my opinion) will be proven right on the Moyes front. More of a IronMan in the forum debates than a Batman. I would just be a lowly extra admiring great work from a distance.

I'm still mystified to this day what exactly happened with Alex Song. Bordering on world class when he first rocked up, gradually evolved into a mediocre midfielder who nobody seemed to want.

Reports that Reece Oxford is going to VVV-Venlo on loan after struggling at Augsburg.

It would be just like us to sell potential and replace it with old dead wood. The height of our ambition as a football club is similar to that of driftwood floating towards a waterfall played on a loop. Inevitability of failure should be written on our shirts in Latin to make it seem something other than what it is.

It's definitely the way forward. I get far less angry now.

I'm afraid even the veneer of next level has developed dry rot.keithwright1977 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 12:07 am It would be just like us to sell potential and replace it with old dead wood. But you’ll miss out on hearing what Fellaini’s hobbies are! (the answer BTW is “using my elbows” and “watercolours”)LeonRivers wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 12:25 am It's definitely the way forward. I get far less angry now.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
His knees went, I can sympathise with him even if it's happened 25 years later than his. There is only so much damage and swelling you can play through on that front sadly especially once you lose any semblance of your natural fitness. Deterioration might be gradual but eventually you go over a cliff you simply can't climb back up. To think it was him or Kante that second season, little changes on the decisions front.steveyrockstar wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2020 11:20 pm I'm still mystified to this day what exactly happened with Alex Song. Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
Strange isn't the word for it, the IB/MG persona complimenting him/her self on him/her self's excellent comments about how Pellegrini was never right for us, and how he/they predicted the second coming of DM . What ever next? Do you together or separately have any other recommendations about other DM cast-offs being available in the transfer window for WHU?

Decent player for us iirc. Didn't he score a cracking goal at Wrexham in the cup one year?

There is a wonderful subsection of posters who are thick/conspiratorially minded enough to think that I have anything to do with this other guy. A guy who, funnily enough, is a complete wind up merchant!Pentonville wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 12:40 am Strange isn't the word for it, the IB/MG persona complimenting him/her self on him/her self's excellent comments about how Pellegrini was never right for us, and how he/they predicted the second coming of DM . Great little technical player. Brought sunshine to dark afternoons
