It literally is whoever’s in the manager job at the time or their inner circle of scumbag agents.

They make everything so dire that we end up resigned to Randolph and Allen , they have not got the finances or the intelligence to run a football club.
Make do and mend everytime.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
Fernandes... hadn't heard of him a week ago (like most) so I am not too fussed if we get him on not. Decent enough YouTube video but there are more questions than answers with him and something doesn't quite smell right.
I honestly wouldn't mind Butland and Allen...
Butland is like Fabianski 8 or 9 years ago... needs an arm around his shoulder and for a manager to have faith in him. He clearly has talent but needs to a bit of work. He could be the long term solution to Fab!
Allen: If we had him as an option on Friday to swap for Noble at half time we might have seen a different result. Noble will have stinkers but for every stinker he will put in a Bournemouth-esk performance. He will be our starter more often than not and so whoever comes in will play second fiddle. Allen fits the bill and we know he could step in quickly.

Allen is a excellent little player. Hardworking and quite skillfull. He will make a difference and be a positive. I know it's all about opinions but I honestly think some posters are deluded.
We can't get the top players with a sexist jock with two porno kings on the scene.
Yes. As awful as it is...we have to go Welsh. Pardon?

Baffling that we’ve not seen the Isaac Hayden links re-surface. Would massively improve our midfield and weaken Newcastle’s.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
Whilst not letting our owners off the hook for being the loathsome, incompetent twunts that they are, I actually don’t hold them responsible for losing out on transfers like Fernandez (assuming we do lose out).
The player is being punted out by his agents to all and sundry. It isn’t his heartfelt lifelong ambition to pull on a claret and blue shirt. Of course he’s going to chose a club like Spurs over us.
The only thing I’d blame them for (in this instance) is even getting involved in this type of bidding game that we’re almost certain to lose every time. But if they didn’t, we’d accuse them of lacking ambition.

Problem is they want the higher profile signing, to be able to say we beat X or Y top 6 club etc rather than concentrating on getting in a few Premier ready reliable bodies such as an Allen. Had we got someone like Rudd/Reina (imagine the anger at getting in a 37 year old even just on loan from some - no ambition, no future, no planning, cheap option etc) we do not lose on Friday.
We do not need 2/3 speculations in our current position. We need a GK and CM for certain (ideally also a RB and striker alternative) who we know can do a job in the Premier, give us 7-8 out of 10 week in week out.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
That's the problem - 7/10 every week doesn't usually come on loan, on a free or dirt cheap.
We appear to be shopping for 6/10s - though admittedly to replace 4/10s and 5/10s.

We don't appear to be doing a great deal of anything (I accept things may be going on behind the scenes...) If we want Allen then sign him what is holding that particular deal up?bubbles1966 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 5:52 pm That's the problem - 7/10 every week doesn't usually come on loan, on a free or dirt cheap.

Just read that we're offering Yarma out for loan to Prem clubs, seriously why would we offer him to relegation rivals?

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
Naaaa nothing to do with wanting big foreign signings, the whole thing was a diversion to keep the fan base thinking we’re in the market for decent players whilst we scramble around for freebies from the championship.Gsbgsb wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 5:44 pm Exactly.

It's probably an obvious answer, but apart from Wilshere, who was the last player we signed from another team in the Premier league?hammer1975 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 5:22 pm Baffling that we’ve not seen the Isaac Hayden links re-surface. Express: West Ham boss David Moyes to sacrifice Manuel Pellegrini signing to kickstart transfers.

Info comes from the Mirror so could and probably is ***** but with our board you can't rule this stuff out.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
Yarmy could play upfront if needed - when has moyes even seen him play? What a waste.
Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
Despite destroying the squad depth to make a "record signing" last summer and ,probably, saving many millions in wages- there is fuckall for Moyes to spend unless he sells first, unfortunately ,the players we can afford to sell are either injured,on stoopid wages or just plain crap!!
