It’s almost like the owners are trying to rub our faces in it with this bid for CASH

Crazy money.HammerMan2004 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 8:50 pm Had a check of Ex’s Twitter. Apparently we offered £12m for Cash and Forest want £18m.
The lad hasn’t even played for the U21s and they want that type of money.
Zabaleta has looked good recently and that money would be better spent on a centre midfielder or another striker. Right back isn’t really our main concern.

At least Cash has championship experience for next year.
Would also like to go for Jarrod Bowen , bit of pace goal threat and British

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
Do you know what would be nice, if there was some clarity when it comes to transfers. We spent ages chasing William Carvalho (which is ironic because he’s the sort of player we could have done with) only to start haggling over the odd million, then we spend ages chasing Maxi Gomes when it was clear he didn’t want to join us, surely the starting point to these negotiations should be
1 Do they want to join us
2 Can we afford the player
If these two points are negative then we can move on to the next target instead of wasting months trying to persuade them

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
This time next week dg we will be multi billionares ( I can see it now rubbing there greasy palms together )
I’m sure there will be signings but only for the ladies team. I hope I’m wrong but just can’t see it. Like the rest of you I love this club and I am envious of how other clubs are run but this leaves a nasty taste in the mouth something ain’t right, there plan as not been to save this club it’s to destroy it. 48yrs I’ve loved this club and will always be in my heart and blood, and yes I will always be behind the team but not with my money anymore. The soul will come back one day I’m sure hopefully with people that truly love this great club and the greatest and truest fans of all ( which is why I’ve loved this club so much )

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
I’ve now hit crisis point, we’ve not been linked with anyone in the last 10mins, is this good or bad?..... worried
Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
A lot of excitement for some of the players we’ve been linked with over the last day or so, but has anyone actually seen them play?

0% excited and 0% belief we’ve actually any desire to buy anyone. It’s all razzle dazzle before the window shuts and then after a made up fanfare of some sort - probably a missed signing opportunity or some outrageous fans action we will surreptitiously release the accounts with a whopping missing 40 million.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
I’d take Cash from Forest, he’ll be in the premier league sooner or later. Bowen would also be a great addition if we can get him. Flyn Downes from Ipswich is another young English player I’d raid from the lower leagues - tough little b*stard.
Appreciate that they probably are not the answer for a relegation battle.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
I wouldn’t take that as a marker of quality. Diangana doesn’t get picked for the U21s very often. How much would we want for him if we sold him?
The U21s is full of u23s players who play for the top 6 teams. Not those playing regular first team football for a ‘lesser’ team.
