PF. wrote: Mon Jan 27, 2020 7:43 am ow would the new BCFC have a shock after purchasing the club? Surely there was DD, and if hidden, our little dildo would have been in the high court faster than he could have shouted pvc.
I do recall that the new owner of BCFC was so furious that he banned Gold from the Directors box when we played them.

Still think they are off and not going to buy anyone. these proposed 18 month loans all the time are weird and suggest an event is due with sully and co off within 18 months.

relegation and sell off our better players in summer 2020 would raise quite a bit to cushion the blow for them !
haller 25m diop 25m lanzini 20m Anderson 30m fornals 20m Antonio 25m rice 50m is around 195m for the greedy 3.
buy a few championship players to stabilise us at around 45m and you have a 150m profit when they sell up.

given up with lists for new players as I believe there wont be any coming in.

I'd like to see the leash taken off Rice a bit and get a holding midfielder like Shelvey. Let Rice be the box to box player and the deeper player can control the game a bit more.

His burst forward at Sheff Utd showed he can do it and he's our only player shooting at the moment. He's good at breaking up play, but when he opens up a bit he's actually quick and that's getting wasted a bit at the moment.

BFS has just confirmed on talksport what we all knew anyway. He said new players would turn up to training that he didn't know about. Brought in by Sullivan. if they didn't perform it would be blamed on the coaching.

Good on him for speaking out, he's not very popular with WHU fans but even he is more popular than the vermin that run this club.

The worm has turned! The kinda people now making noises are the kind that know when the tide has turned. Self preservation or sensing the opportunity doesn't really matter. This is snowballing! It's open season!

Idioms galore!

Yes, I remember the story at the time about Little skinny Sam, signed from MK Dons. He turned up at the training ground for his very first time and Big Fat Sam, thought he was a fan trying to get autographs

Baldock, Zarate, Sakho, Borrielo?

Maybe even Valencia, Chamakh, Carew, Maiga?

Certainly Nene, Brian Montenegro and Wellington Paulista.

Fairly endless list.

The Sakho deal was drawn out wasn’t it, Sullivan backed out at the 11th hour and the Metz chairman threatened to report them to FIFA.

Could of been Zarate, they had him at Birmingham.

Valencia was definitely a Sully punt. Had his imprint all over it, South American, impressed at the World Cup etc.

fat sam having a dig now, after the sports supplement said how the owners had ruined Bilic, their interfering ways are really starting to come out, now they are letting snippets about not staying if not wanted again, the greedy 3 are cracking the reaper is hovering around the bowl, no way would anyone decent join us this week with all this unless the wage is crazy, so do they spend big and try to win the battle or grab the money and wait until a buyer comes in

the pink palermo wrote: Mon Jan 27, 2020 6:16 am I wonder how much money we still owe to other clubs for players signed in the past 18 months ?

I wonder whether our wage bill has really shrunk to the extent many seem to believe it has ?

If only the club ould publish the accounts for the 2018/19 season we might have a better idea.

What is Sullivan hiding ?

I have a theory :

We used to owe huge sums to the banks

We paid that off by selling our ground and taking loans from our shareholders, meaning we owed them millions

We have paid the shareholders off by shifting the debt to other clubs by not paying them for players already signed.

We now owe other football clubs millions.

I suggest people have a look at what Sullivan did when selling BCFC, the new owner got a bit of a shock when he realised the players signed by Sullivan still had to be paid for.....
All kind of adds up doesn’t it?

It’s also crossing my mind that a relegation with the associated fire sale would suit them if the timing is right - loss of big earners reduces running costs significantly while transfer fees could also service debt.

Then there’s also the reduction of rent to be paid on the stadium if we’re not in the Premier League making that agreement with the GLA untenable in the eyes of tax payers...
