Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
If that's the case they deserve every bit of stick they get, I draw the line at vandalism though, like at Man utd. They have obviously excepted relegation, they have been found out before this window in my opinion but, this one takes the cake.

They haven't accepted it, they've just done their usual; spending as little as possible and hoping three teams are crappier than us.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
And this is why we’ve been in a relegation battle for around 50% of the seasons after the Dave’s took over, including the seasons at the OS which was supposed to bring us to the mythical “next level.”Denbighammer wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2020 2:48 pm They haven't accepted it, they've just done their usual; spending as little as possible and hoping three teams are crappier than us.
The most telling thing about their ownership is that this hasn’t been some progression regularly fighting relegation for a few seasons in a row onto a few seasons as a midtable side...it’s been a constant pattern of pure incompetence, inability to build any consistency, and inability to consolidate any successes

Not so fast -now it's time to scrape the barrel for over-the-hill players without a club.bonzosbeard wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2020 2:37 pm C & H saying they 'understand that no signing is currently imminent and in all likelihood no further incoming signings will be completed in time.'
Do go to sleep,,,,and last person please turn out the lights

Its all double bluff..they will get some unwanted rubbish through the doors tomorrow and people will say...ok at least they got some in.
People need to stop falling for this endless cycle of annual incompetence.

Brownhill is involved in a player swap. Can’t see that happening...

ah ha, you forgot the formula. they sign one player on loan( + ) a kid makes his successful debut( + ) resulting in only losing 0-2 ( x ), someone else must be due back and be like a new signing ( - ) owners working tirelessly = cushty

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
we are missing out on so many players,
newcastle getting danny rose now to add to lazaro and Bentaleb
sheff utd getting in sander berge
saints nicking Kyle Walker-Peters
all players that would have helped our slow and depleted squad
the board HAVE to get in some pace.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
Just read that Man United are considering a move for Rondon after Piatek chose to move to Hertha Berlin for £23m.
Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
“Joint second bottom”
Could just be Ferguson and Bowen do not want to play in the Championship again next year which they will not with Palace but is at least questionable with us?
Players are not looking necessarily at the next 6 months but next season as well. As some on here have posted - why sign for us?

What I'd give for another Hartson/Kitson deadline day special right now.
