Hold up is probably working out the agent fee Bowen's agent Will Salthouse/Unique Sports Management who we've used alot in the past (Cresswell, Fredericks, Antonio, Randolph), incidentally he/they manage a load of Palace players too (Kouyate, Zaha, Townsend, Schlupp, Ayew and previously Wan-Bissaka) which probably explains why Bowen was also linked to Palace as well. Classic case of agent playing off both owners.
