Antonio had 4 goals and 6 assists in his first 7 matches of the 2014/15 Fizzy Pop season. His great statistics along with his "energy, power, and willingness" were a big part of why we signed him.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
I don’t doubt that we need a RB, but instead of all these insulting loan offers with an option to buy in 2075 that we’ve made for midfielders, maybe we should have been using some of this 10 mill there (if this is true)
Edit - seeing the above post, now this bid makes sense, way short of other clubs’ bids or valuation, the typical Sully “we tried” nonsense

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
Something tells me, that at last, that this is a sensible target. Players playing in that league will still see us as a big club and a step up, have none of the Billy Big Bollox attitude and will be keen to make an impression. So long as he's not another Byram

Anyone else wonder if Jinxed was one of the Sullivan boys and his disappearance also ties in with our complete lack of signings?

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
if we're to believe things they are trying to get someone - anyone - please, anyone!!! - to do a £10m deal for a young right back, and a £10m deal for an athletic midfielder .....ideally paid for with an Argos card and 5 years interest free credit. Oh, and a loan for someone like Sakho/Maiga.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
If this relegation clause in contracts is true then I can't see anyone signing unless they are on absolute peanuts. Even then, if they were half decent they would be offered similar contracts elsewhere WITHOUT the clause.

Sullivan negotiation:
“Twist my arm...fine, we’ll give you 500k quid today, and 11.5 mill in a lump sum in two years provided that we have sold the club by then. If we haven’t, then it’s 500k today, and the rest over 50 years!”

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
i am hoping that this was just for public consumption. We got away with 4-1 - a truly soft penalty to get back in the game encouraged leicester to tighten up and lose their mojo for a bit. Otherwise theyd have scored more, ealier. It could easily have been a 5 or 6 nil.EastleighHammer16 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 1:21 pm "I think we're playing with quite a lot of confidence and showing that in our games. Unbelievable that he actually said this.
we wont play a team as good as leicester every week - but sadly we play still better teams 3 times in the next four games. Our GD will not be better than Wtford or Bournemouth at the end of that!

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
Jinxed was distinctly anti-Sullivan especially towards the end there. Would Sullivan boys be against their own father online? I suppose it's plausible at their age.
