Weekend Fixtures 1-3rd November

Post by brothernero » Fri Oct 25, 2019 8:40 pm

Quite a game going on at Southampton. Not yet half time and Leicester City are already 4-0 to the good. They went 1 up and after a VAR review Saints were reduced to ten men with Ryan Bertrand sent off for a high tackle.

Southampton 0-5 Leicester City.

Up next for the Saints is Man City. Still early days but they look a team in real trouble.

When do we play them then, :hush:

5-0 now.

A few weeks ago I believed we were at a similar level to Leicester, but I’ll admit we aren’t even close to them right now.

Have to say that if any teams outside of the norm were to make the top 4 again, they seem by far the most likely.

Like him or hate him Brendan Rodgers is a quality manager and as a football club Leicester are very well run.

GITS!

Difficult to imagine we would look as slick as Leicester against ten man Aaints tonight. Their recruitment continues to be excellent.

Leicester will easily qualify for the Champions League this season. Fantastic side. I can only see them getting better over the next few years.

Because the club have a decent board with a strategy.

Looking at games like this make me even more annoyed at our shower of a performance last week. Leicester genuinely believe they can rip sides apart, and that all stems from Brendan Rodgers.

If we had sold our CB to Man U I am not sure you would have said the same thing

Maddison is 100% gone next summer.

If Man U offered £80 million for Issa Diop it would be the best bit of business we've had ever done. Harry Maguire is the most expensive centre back in the world

Barely a West Ham player would get in this Leicester team.

I agree but people would still be up in arma that we were a selling club

Ndidi is a class player. Goes back to my ford transit vs rolls Royce analogy. Declan Rice is a better footballer than Ndidi, but Ndidi is better at the role they both play and provides more protection to their back four

Leicester seem in no mood to kill the game dead, 6-0 now and you can see them scoring more.

It's raining goals. 7-0 Leicester.

Poor old Southampton fans.
