How on earth is the Referee suppose to make up his mind when some explosion occurs every time Aurier makes a connection with Mane's legs ? :D

Mane takes the ball into the area and is heading away from goal. The defender swings his boot, is nowhere near the ball and kicks him in the back of the leg bringing him down.

He isn't playing the ball. Its badly timed but not malicious but the contact prevents the attacker from staying on his feet.
Put like that, it sounds bang to rights.
Having seen Cuenca's clip, I'm none the wiser!
Whoever put the explosion flash on there, on EVERY clip, hasn't helped at all. I'm trying to see their legs coming together & because of that, I can't see it properly. One second Mane's leg is behind the defender's leg, the next second it's in front. I'll watch motd2 but it does look a little bit harshly given. I wasn't happy when the same was done to us (can't remember who against). That Mane is certainly a clever c*nt at winning penalties.

It is starting to look as though Leicester might well make the top 4. They've already played away at Man U, Liverpool and Chelsea.
Leicester have spent money in the right areas. They have 2 very good full backs. Signed some fantastic midfielders and have one of the best strikers in the Premier League. This is a team who also spent £12.5m on their number 2 goalkeeper. It’s a team who try and build successful football teams. Ndidi and Tielemans are a dream. We did attempt to go for Andre Gomes, and it’s easy to see why and what he would’ve brought to our team.

Arsenal’s disallowed goal is a farce also. Absolutely nothing in it, and no reason for VAR to disallow it.

AND they got an absolute fortune for offloading a rather slow, albeit good in the air, centre-back.
Things are looking very good again, for Leicester.

Crouch: "The moment that Mane got the ball, we said there was a potential car-crash happening. Aurier had no awareness of where Mane was.

"Mane was clever and got his leg in there, between the defender and the ball,

Mane is amazing at 'winning' these kind of penalties.

Same against Leicester last week. He's an expert.

Manes play is irrelevant to the penalty award though.

The law says nothing about intent.

I don't like it but it is still a penalty

Xhaka subbed off, the fans boo him, he gets animated, takes his straight off and heads down the tunnel, Lol
Do you still think Xhaka is the best thing since sliced bread?

Yes still he is a very good footballer, same people doubted Jorginho and Kovacic last year, doubt Noble,. Arsenal bar Auba goal's haven't been great and Guendozi has been bad too but Auba's goals are covering a lot of cracks currently, with Bellerin, Tienry, Lacazette back they have to start hitting form or serious questions will be asked.

Alaves giving Atletico Madrid all they can handle.. should have gone 1-0 up there from a corner. 0-0 currently. 50 minutes in.

Barcelona play right after this time wise

good finish by Morata after coming on as a sub for Costa.....Lucas Perez playing for Alaves - who just scored a worldie - 1-1 - beats 2 players and absolutely hammers a left footer (what else) into the top far corner....a belter.....from 25 yards maybe ?

1-1 is the final score. Atleti dropping more points - struggling to score this season. they never let loads of goals in but they seem to be finding it very hard to score this season only 12 goals for including today and 7 conceded. 12 games.

Barca up next home to Valladolid

after about 3 ricochets in the box Lenglet hammers a shot in off a defender about 2 minutes in. 1-0 Barca

free-kick in, everyone misses it, hit Ter Stegen and hits a opposing player 1-1 15 minutes in

Messi with the so called slide rule pass, and a quality little touch from Vidal 2-1

direct free kick from about 25+ and Messi does what Messi does... 3-1

ball from Rakatic Messi thigh control with his back to the goal, turns all in one movement and lashes a left footer into the net.

4-1

before I can finish typing Messi through ball to Suarez 5-1

Interesting to see Leicester play a nearly full reserve side and get through

The manager obviously realises confidence breeds confidence

Look at us since the Oxford game and look what happened after the Wimbledon one last year

???
They played a full reserve side tonight (except Tielemans)
Admittedly they have better reserves than we do!
