David Sullivan - Has he taken us as far as he can ?

Does exactly what it says on the tin - the forum for football-related discussion.

Begging Tottenham for a kid on loan to go straight into our first team in a relegation battle.

Absolute slag.

What goes on in the Western world is not reported in the mainstream press as it is censored, no such restrictions when it comes to dodgy foreigners.
You'll need to look up that word...

American owners are a mixed bag, but one thing they tend to have in common is that they come from the American ownership prospective that you hire a bunch of experts to run things for you, and each of those people has a role to play. There are people to handle scouting, there are people to handle analytics, there are people to handle the business, there are people to run the youth academy, there is a manager, and most importantly.... there is a plan and structure for how these people work together. If one of those people isn't doing a good job... out they go and someone new slots into the same role and responsibilities. The owner makes decisions on budget, maybe very big transactions of course, but they generally aren't going to make themselves known in the football side.

We could desperately use that kind of structure.
Agree 100% about that’s what we need at West Ham. Crying out for it. Not necessarily American, can be owners from anywhere. But that approach, would be a breath of fresh air. Just imagine if we were a well run club. Never seen it in my lifetime. Maybe it is too much to ask, as a West Ham.

I'd probably be banned for writing what I really think of him, and what I hope happens to him.

So I won't.

Do they realise they have right royally f@@@@d up?

Every time i see a picture of Sullivan and Gold now, i see Del Boy and Uncle Albert instead.

They even appear to be running the club like it is TIT (Trotters independent traders).

Yep, even the media apologised and said they got it wrong about them.

You'll need to look up that word...

You removed the rest of the post so the context in which the word was used was lost. Silly behavior

I genuinely think they don't care. I have always thought they have a paranoia about going down, with the financial implications on their investment and etc. But do they regret anything........no, not really, they were only in it for the Boleyn Money, the cheap rent OS, maybe buy it one day, nothing else really matters, so no, their view is more likely its going marvellously to plan.

I think they are deluded on valuation, without the OS, we're worth probably £ 150m-£ 200m, in the Premier League. Owning the OS, its different Maths, can we turn the OS into housing and build a smaller stadium somewhere, different thought process. That's all their thinking about, day and night. & staying in the Premier League, nothing else is of interest-to them.

I wouldn't worry about the apology, it's effect is to make the owners look ridiculous and egotistical. Which was basically the theme of the original programme

They didn't say anything about financial implications for their investments, the dire consequences are for the club, they won't be out of pocket they'll make sure of that.

They are businessmen. Their job is to make money for themselves.

They are rolling in it.

Job done for them.
