2019/2020 Relegation Thread

Post by My_Sobriquet » Sat Nov 09, 2019 6:45 pm

Covered the least amount of ground this season.

Key players injured.

Key players smiling as they get subbed.

Horrendous goalkeeper

No passion or fight.

No attacking threat.

Comedy defending.

Will Pelle be known as Pelle the Rellegator?

Who if we played now would all beat us comfortably. That is the worrying thing.

West Ham remind me of that disastrous Aston Villa side that were relegated full of foreign players with no heart

This West Ham team would take a few maulings down in the Championship I reckon.

Absolutely. I cannot see where the next win is coming from. We're in a relegation fight good and proper.

Most definitely, from what I've seen of some Championship games this season we would never cope with the pace of a lot of them teams. When the inevitable happens and we get relegated we will not bounce straight back like we have done in previous seasons. Too many good teams down there.

I think it's hilarious personally, there's something about West Ham being so dreadful that nobody thinks it's worth having a dig. Never change :scarfer:

If anyone doesn't think we are in one then they need to wake up... and, to be perfectly honest, I'm not sure either the manager or players we have are up for it.

It was all well & good thinking we could have done with winning these games to get into the top 6 (or whatever the tagline was after a couple of wins) but with our next 6-8 games, we really needed to win a few. It's very very feasible to imagine going into the new year on less than 18 points.

Our final run in - the last 5 or so games - are quite "easy" but as Noble Man says, if we're in any sort of a fight I just can't see anyone being up for it.

Let's hope it doesn't come to that but we're sinking like a lead balloon at the moment with no signs of stopping and 2 weeks to stew on it

Which is why Pellers is going to get the sack, because the board were conceited enough to believe we were going to get top 8

Unfortunately we are stuck with him. The shisters won't pay him off and won't pay the compo for anyone who is already in a job. Who would they replace him with.... no idea!!

Of course they will prefer no to, but they have the perfect opportunity now with a two week break to line up his successor and they will find a way.

We could do a Sunderland, Sulli's pocket won't like that.

Our Championship squad would be pretty decent I'd imagine.

Fabianski (too old for anyone to buy from us)
Fredericks Balbuena Ogbonna Masuaku
Noble Cullen
Yarmolenko Snodgrass Diangana
Ajeti

Probably need a bit more energy in midfield but other than that, a good team for that league.
