Kevin Nolan rumoured to be wanting a coaching role at the club, might this help our survival chances?

Please god No! :(

If it can help motivate some of the players then it would be a good move.
How we could do with a Kevin Nolan (2011/12 standard) on the pitch right now !

A few weeks ago I thought we would stay up. Having looked at our remaining fixtures I think that barring Bowen performing beyond expectations and picking up unexpected wins I can't see us getting more than 35 points and relegation. I have to admit I'm far less bothered than normal.

Watched Ings tonight for Saints. Never stopped running and scored a real classy goal. I think thats no.19 in all comps this season so far.
I watch Haller and i dont want to bash the guy but he isn,t half a dangerous as Ings in this League.
Get Nolan in!!
He will put fire back into a few bodies and it may make the difference. Prepare them for a dog fight run in. Those last 6 game of which 5 are winnable will need players with a passion and a fire to survive in this league, not for them but for the fans and for the club. Nolan can only be a positive.

I don’t think the owners want people in that can speak up for themselves and tell others their home truths, they just want yes men

How many motivators do we need or have had? Does it make a blind bit of difference? Ginge, Zaba, Pearce...we were still unbelievably crap at times.

Mr. Motivator: "Come on, feel the desire. You can be a winner if you put your mind to it and work extra hard."

Player: "If I do none of that do I still get my fifty thousand this week?"

Mr. Motivator: "Yes"

Player: "Au revoir/adios/bye/ciao" as appropriate

ward-prowse's injury last night was only a deep gash and not the ACL it looked like.

still, plenty of time fo him to get injured again in the next three weeks.

Another  fact.

If the league only consisted of away results, Southampton would currently be 5th, and that's with them still having to play four of the bottom five.
Southampton are also one of the very few teams in the premier league to have west ham as their bogey side (although I remember their victory over us a few seasons back as the low point in an awful season)

yes by some way. next 7 games will see us drop to the bottom of the table. we have few players who are up for a fight. if you have one or two off you will get done in this league we have many who are not up to it, are lazy or cant last more than 60 mins. so yes we are going down.u
