It could genuinely get ugly, I think we will be looking for a new manager, come Monday morning.

That's the spirit SH
I'm not sure if the moaning one still has "it", game has moved on from his style, but...if I was a Tottenham player I would be boosted by his appointment, so you may well be right to cry into your cheerios this morning.

All done during the international break, behind the scenes, while Poch was away and no sooner than everything was agreed and Maureen had signed the contract, they broke the news to Poch and announced it in the media

If MP can't get our players up for this game then I just can't see there being any way back for him. I don't think they'll batter us (Mourinho teams don't batter anyone) but if it's a comfortable 2-0 win for them, with an inept performance from us, I think he'll have to go.

We may well suffer on Saturday as they enjoy their new manager bounce, and obviously because we are in a dogshit run of form, however, the special one is a busted flush and I cannot see that changing with that lot.
Just our luck that he was shuffled in so quick for Saturday!

Mourinho on a budget will be interesting to see.
Re: West Ham United v Tottenham Hotspur: Match Thread 23/11/2019
I think the incoming manager will make things worse for a little while. There are obviously problems with a few players and those players won't be too happy with his appointment. They are definitely there for the taking and I fancy us to beat them fairly comfortably.

Not so sure they will get the new manager bounce. I think their players will be genuinely sorry to see Poch go and possibly unsure about the chosen one. As for doing it for Poch, not sure a great display and win for them will show Poch in a good light.
Having said all that do I think they will win, yes I do.
The question is more about how we perform and if we don't perform well it could turn a bit ugly.

Spurs players will be well up for Mourinho’s first game. It’s down to our fans to get behind our team and and try to get some pride back which we have seriously lost.
If we lose by 2 or 3 which is very possible, I think things could turn very toxic for Pellegrini and the board.
COYI!

nailed on spuds win. the fact is that pelle cant motivate anyone and the team are not playing for him. none of them are trying much and all performing well below what they are capable of.
his treatment of fredericks masuaka and ogbonna must be an issue.
his signings have been poor he has no tactics he cant be bothered to get our mob up for anything.
4-0 defeat and sacked on Monday poch in on Tuesday ? would be ideal apart from the first bit !

2-1 home win against Chelsea for the last season at the Boleyn. Carroll scored the winner.

Could you just imagine if we got Pochettino. Of course it would never happen but it would certainly get the backs up of our North London chums :lol:hammerman11 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2019 9:03 am nailed on spuds win. the fact is that pelle cant motivate anyone and the team are not playing for him. none of them are trying much and all performing well below what they are capable of.

I don't think Mourinho is the right manager for them, his playing style is so much different to Spurs. Its going to end in tears with them and Mourinho.
That being said I don't think this game will be a thriller be like a 1-0 VAR call game, both teams will be nervous and looking with a win but don't want to lose it.
I look forward to the racism from Spurs fans that they will get away with again

I'd take that as he'd unfuck our team, get them working harder and move us on as a club. I don't say that because I want Pellers out, he should be given time to sort things out himself, but given the job he did at Southampton and indeed the scum it's clearly what he does. Also there is more chance of us winning this any every remaining game of the season 10-0.hammerman11 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2019 9:03 am 4-0 defeat and sacked on Monday poch in on Tuesday ? would be ideal apart from the first bit !
Will Moanrinio have an effect for them? It depends what he does to the contract holdouts, if he can charm them out of the slumber they've been in we could be in a lot of ****. If he doesn't instantly click with some of the younger players who were getting their chance and building careers under Poch then we might be ok.
Form says we were always going to take a hiding in this game. As Alli hasn't been any good this year I'm betting on him to kick start his season and us to take a proper beating. I wish it wasn't so, but I can't see anything else.

We may as well start applying Sullivan’s patented “Pleasure Jelly” right now....
