I've just posted in another thread about my disillusionment with West Ham at the moment and how I hope that the love that I once had for this great club is reignited. Now if there's one fixture that could do that in recent times, it's this one.

The one thing that stopped me from completely detesting Spurs was Pochettino, now he's gone I really have no reason to have any good feeling towards them and so I hope we get back on track tomorrow with a morale boosting win.

Having Antonio back involved couldn't have come at a more important time. 1-0, Antonio header.

Agree.

We will start Antonio, who will limp off injured after 15mins.

2 months i think.

but he hasn't played all year, so him being out won't really matter.

their defense will be tough to beat under mourinho and we are a mess.

he will see how easily we can be beaten and exploit it. we will be lucky to lose this one by only 0 - 2.

okay can we start posting what their strengths and our weaknesses are in the hope that Pellers will read it and maybe integrate it into today's training

Lucas Moura will rip Cresswell to bits
either one of their CB's will be a nightmare at set pieces
Ericssen and Ndombele will tear our midfield to bits

can't think of too many places we can exploit them though

Masuaku back in if he's fit/available/around...Don't know why he has disappeared lately, but he'll at least offer us something going forward. I would also start Antonio if he's up to it. Any players we have that have a bit of pace and can ask questions of Tottenham and their full backs (a massive weak link for them) we need them in the team. Hopefully Pellegrini can finally see that playing a slow team which starts sluggish and gets no foothold in the game isn't the way to go.

Was bored and had a nose about on their forum.

20 reasons to laugh at West Ham.

1) They are West Ham
2) They have only ever won 4 trophies.
3) They haven't won a trophy for 39 years
4) They think they are our rivals
5) Their all time hero (Noble) has NEVER managed to get in some shitty England squads
6) They rent an athletics stadium
7) They sing about pretty bubbles..
8) Their Training ground is worse than some non-league clubs.
9) They won a couple of games early this season and were talking of Top 4.
10) They haven't finished above us for years.
11) They got dumped out of Europa qualifiers by Astra Goo Goo TWICE.
12) They got dumped out of the league cup 4-0 to Oxford.
13) They have to keep that stadium for another 95 years.
14) They signed Jack Wheelchair.
15) In the last 3 seasons they finished 35 ,41 & 19 points behind us. (95 points)
16) The only time they go to Europe is on their Holidays.
17) They are run by Karren Brady
18) They have a bubble making machine like the ones used at kids parties.
19) They have a Boys of 86 reunion even though they won NOTHING that year.
20) They are West ham.

I’ve had such a lack of enthusiasm all week for this game that I’ve barely looked up anything West Ham related. Only just found out the team news and whatnot.

Good to see Antonio back but I hope he isn’t being rushed as he so often has in the past. I can just imagine him being stretchered off after 15 minutes after a lung busting run before his hamstring snaps.

I question their attitude towards point number 4, given the fact they spent time trying to find another 19 points to throw at us...

I probably wouldn't do that with Fulham, Norwich, Crystal Palace, Brighton etc...

Same old Spurs fans. Sit 14th in the league and still as jumped up as ever.

Had a little chuckle at no.18. Hard to disagree with some of them.

What a shame, a great club with so much potential in the right hands.

As you know I’m pretty optimistic usually Ozza and I genuinely cannot see anything other than a 2/3-0 spurs win. :(
