Is it still on?
Very much so
Unless beating Chelsea at their gaff has made the many diverse and complicated web of problems that people have with our owners and the slow death of our club.

HU have been working hard since formation almost 9 months ago win lose or draw.
This is not about results on the pitch...

Keep the pressure on.

Whoever is manager in January should have financial support from the board to improve the squad options.

Fantastic result & performance today.
However & for the avoidance of any doubt, GSB can still f*ck off, asap.

I'm sorry Moxy, but it changes everything. I admire your optimism but support is ephemeral where West Ham is concerned. A few good results will dissolve any current support to the dust of dreams.

Now is the absolute perfect time to protest. But hey, we beat Chelsea so everything is fine again :thdn:

Nothing changes at all in fact it wound me up even more because I’d never miss Chelsea away but due to walking away from a season ticket at the soul drainer I have also forfeited any sniff of an away ticket.

Hard to disagree with any of that, except,I fear, the last sentence.

Sad to say, but I genuinely believe that things will only change IF we go down.
Have to agree with this. It's the only way we'll shake off the parasites draining the Club. The Club can begin to grow again. :crest:

I completely disagree. If we go down, the value of the club would drop to something well below what Sullivan would want for his share. If we go down, the only thing that will change is the quality of our playing staff. That certainly wont improve the experience for anyone.

Sorry to disappoint you but the phrase was quoted to highlight the false dawn created by winning at Chelski. Time to draw a line under things that went on before and unite in a common goal.

Of course one decent away win changes nothing.
I can't believe that anyone would really think that.

Agree. If we go down the value of the club will drop far below their expectations and they will simply hold on in the belief that they have the expertise to get us back up (as they have done repeatedly at Birmingham and once here).

Sadly the fastest and most likely route to new owners is the current ones extracting the highest possible sale price and leaving the club with a huge profit for themselves ....whilst on the pitch we will have been left with investment to the level of Bournemouth or Brighton and a stadium and training set up that can be ‘un-west ham’ed’ within 48 hours.

The problem is a couple more wins and we be pushing top 7 again and then a protest looks futile. This league is so tight from 7th downwards but if we are top 10 and protesting we are going to just look foolish I feel personally press will certainly take owners side for sure.

I think relegation is the only way to get these fools to listen or empty seats but that won’t ever happen as fans are to loyal to the club

Adrian. You say that if we are top ten and protest we will look foolish.Earlier in this thread there were several saying it would look bad on the facebase protesting if results were bad!!

The fact is results have nothing to do with it.

Sorry mate, but If there is genuine reason for protest then it isn't futile. Make enough noise and people will notice.
Even a few more decent results following on from yesterdays pleasent surprise won't change the fact the the 3 c**** are still here, doing what they've done best over the years which is to leech off of their host for as much as they possibly can.
The problem lies in persuading those of a more easier-pleased disposition (when results go in our favour, and no disrespect intended) that the problems at the club lie much deeper than merely the performances on the pitch. IMVHO.

I'm all for people protesting things that they feel strongly about and fully support the sentiment.
It'll be interesting to see how many join in. If Kumb is representative of the fanbase it should be a significant portion of the stadium. It wasn't the case for the Burnley protests though. Have to be careful using internet forums to gauge widespread sentiment as they generally tend to concentrate opinions, especially negative ones when people feel they don't have a voice or are not being heard

Protest against the board won’t work into today premiership tv money world. Fans mean very little to clubs and if wasn’t for a backlash by the media premiership would happily play a few games over seas every year for more money. The only way to hit them and protest is to hurt their pocket, their “brand” and their reputation not they have a great reputation with wider fans And football anyway so they won’t care about that.

In their eyes they are untouchable
