What she says is ok, the point she's missing is that of those 30,000 families, most of the kids probably support the opposition.

That's the problem. Upton Park bred West Ham fans. The London Stadium breeds Spurs, Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool fans.

Remember the advert in the early days of moving in:-

"Come see the Man City Superstars at the Olympic Stadium"

West Ham Utd is gone.
My befuddled mind is probably wrong but I thought the "Come and see City's superstars" advert occurred when we were still at Upton Park.

Yep, you're right it was at Upton Park.

Apologies, I think I've forgotten myself. It was still G and S though wasn't it? Or was that way back?

as we adjust to a hardcore of 30k.
Joking ain't you? The hardcore is long gone.

Arsenal took the piss last night, weighing into home support after they scored.

Plenty of them in the home end as well.

Sad night for West Ham.

It was G&S in the early days of wanting to gentrify the support with the new breed West Ham London lot that we have now garnered.

I take it the majority of the supporters are happy for the owners to remain and continue to destroy West Ham further?
Not at all but this is a different board and different times from the Bond Scheme.

Last year showed that they are simply too clever for us. Too media savvy in line with being media darlings means that they will always win the propaganda war. Add that to the prospect of the potential for being arrested for farting in the stadium and they have it all tied up.

The only thing they value is money so the answer is a boycott, if not of games full stop then of all merchandise sold by the club. The food and drink is obviously overpriced but the LS get the majority of that income anyway.

An empty stadium got results for Arsenal but perhaps they wanted change more than our lot.

Just a point on the march that was called off. The people that called it off run Centreforce FM, a radio station. Three months after the march was called off the station obtained a DAB digital radio license which allowed the station to grow and gain a bigger audience. These licenses costs around £100,000.

Last night Centreforce FM had a club-sanctioned party outside the stadium.

Is all of this really unconnected? Seems unlikely.

^^^ As I've not had any response from anyone involved, I can only assume that's where my donation to the march went to.

I would hope that Heineken rather than the Club paid for them to be there last night.

Am pretty sure that started at the old gaff.
They still couldn't budge the tickets and ended up giving 1000's away to Newham residents with some very odd goings on come the night.

Ah another game that has been played and still no protests, chants, or banners visible inside the stadium.

I take it the majority of the supporters are happy for the owners to remain and continue to destroy West Ham further?
Hello KUMB
As far as I can see there has not been a protest planned as yet. This thread is all bravado, Hammers United have repeatedly said they are going through all the right channels before a protest can happen. I for one believe in them. Any protest has to be meticulously planned, unlike the sh** show that was prevalent last year. Hang tight loyal fan base.

According to Andy Swallow, the license had already been acquired when I interviewed him in January 2018.
"Also, we've just got our DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) license so by March or April we'll come on as a full-time radio station in the London plus area."

Fair enough UTJ, I have been given wrong information on that front then.

More fake news from Brady. Families have always attended West Ham. Kids have always attended West Ham.

She's most probably worked out in the vast chasm between her ears that there must be 30,000 families as 10000 kids STs means 20000 mums and dads.

With that many families, you would think by now that there would be a Family Section in the place.

Last night Hammers United had plenty of engagement with our fans out and about in Westfield, and on the bridges, where we listened to their growing frustration at the current state of affairs within our beloved club.

The tension is growing, and the mood of the West Ham faithful is becoming considerably darker with the fan-base once again coming close to the end of its tether. We have to ask the question, how long before that frustration once again boils over?

The last 24 hours we’ve seen our membership rocket by almost 10% and it was clear last night that our loyal supporters have had enough.

Tross 😎

An effective protest may well be the answer at some point. Although, if it’s going to be effective, I’d say it’s still a little way off.

Hammers United are working hard behind the scenes. This isn’t a boom and bust. Slowly but surely they will build support and they will bring about change for the fans.
