I hope the media know about this. I must admit I haven’t heard anyone mention it.

The Debate on Sky right now, we are one of the topics. Will be interesting viewing and if they mention anything about the protest.

Upset made reference to protest.

They keep saying we are 4th biggest Net Prem spenders in last 2 seasons at 122m. That’s a lie

OK let's flip it to their spin....
If that's the case why are we fighting relegation? Must be a pretty badly run club!

Upson acknowledged the stadium is a completely different beast to Upton Park. Different kind of atmosphere.

Did anyone else who watched the Debate think that Upson was really trying to hide his true feelings about the stadium and owners?
I felt he wanted to say more but was, perhaps, prepped not to say certain things?

Thought Upson came across well on The Debate. He clearly pointed out the move of stadium is a massive problem. As it is now basically playing football in a big athletics stadium.

And hats off to Geoff Shreeves as a Hammer he could barely hide his disdain for the owners.

Is Geoff Shreeves a West Ham fan? Didn't know that.

Upson had a part time role coaching the kids, don't know if he's still doing it.

Why reference two years? They were supposed to be talking about the last ten...

I thought Geoff Shreeves was an Arsenal fan. His brothers are i am sure

Upson was not a great servant for West Ham but he is one of the better pundits out there

I am sure I heard that Geoff Shreeves is a Hammer but that could be the voices in my head so might be wrong!! Regardless, Hammer or not, he did a good job tonight.

Lifeless and half hearted.

A bit like his time as West Ham captain.

Good, the more pundits highlighting the lies and spin of the shysters the better

Presented by Geoff Shreeves who has to at least appear impartial. Pundits Matt Upson and Darren Bent.

I thought Upson with his knowledge of the club highlighted some of the issues around the club fiasco at the moment. It was interesting to hear comments from Darren Bent who probably doesn't know all the facts, nonetheless he conceded that we were not near where we should be. Even Geoff Shreeves, having to be unbiased, came out with a comment when Upson highlighted the lack of infrastructure, "even most Championship sides have better training facilities than WHU".

Overall I thought it was positive, there was a brief reference to the protest, and Upson especially brought up issues beyond just results. I would have liked to have seen these issues being discussed in more depth but I suppose to do that with our sh**show of a club would need a lot more than the 15 mins given! As an example Upson mentioned one of the points on the 10 point promise, to be more engaging with supporters. I would have liked him to expand, if he has the knowledge, about the club only engaging with the OSB and continually refusing to meet with various fan groups.

I really hope this is the beginning of 'Joe Public' and the media seeing the truth behind the ill feeling among supporters. For this protest to have a positive impact we need credibility and not be seen as just disillusioned supporters as we are facing a relegation battle. Let's be honest, none of us support our beloved Irons for the glory! Only if the truth behind all of the GSB reign is shown for what they have really done will we gain vital support.

See you all on Saturday. COYI :crest:

I know the whole idea of the protest this week is a very visual representation of the feeling towards the board but is there any way in which fans that aren't able to attend (I for example am stuck in Liverpool this weekend) to be represented?

I wondered if there was a petition or a somewhere that my support of the protest could be recognised in my absence of actually being there?

I hope this is the start of a long and continuous protest against the 3 shysters. we are featuring in a few live games soon and need flags banners to be picked up on TV. local press to get involved to start the ball rolling and hopefully the main media will pick up on it.

relegation doesn't bother me but what they have done to our club does. we have no home and no soul now. we are not west ham anymore.

It's already having an affect, imo - Media picking up and ,in the main, agreeing with many of the grievances against the board = Brady's interview and statements about a revamp of scouting network!

Was at the previous march, will be at this protest , would be rude not to.
Hope to bring a few with me. Enough of their greed and lies, the press need to expose them for what they are and it’s not life long supporters that saved our club and have the fans best interests at heart :crest:
