Anyone have a summary of what Moose had to say? I'm sure he was well clued up with what the protest was about on Saturday whilst he was shovelling pie down his face...

Crap results is an element of it all. Like it or not, if we were performing on the pitch the noise would decrease a bit. However, it's by no means the biggest problem. It *is* one of them though.

Poor results are a symptom of the club being run poorly, through lack of investment, no infrastructure and no plan, other than to merely exist in Premier League pergatory.

So let me get this right.

They trailed it on social media for 3.15

They announced it at 3, then it never happened.

In other news Ben Campbell has got Lee Clayton on speed dial.

This club :thdn:

Oh yeah, totally agree. Just that a lot of people say that it has nothing to do with results, or performances. It does. For exactly the reason you state.

It's stadium, players, results & performances (& finances & training facilities).
We could be in Livarpool's position now (stop laughing at the back) & we'd STILL be stuck in a sh*t stadium, most fans watching, too far from the pitch.

10 years of the board, the board are all over the media talking about that.

Fans talk about 10 years of the board and it's dismissed as results driven.

Still maintain that results certainly, and maybe performances as well, would paper over the not inconsiderable cracks to an extent. At least for some people. But then being right next to the pitch and everything else still being the same would as well.

Results may be a trigger for some, but the board and their abuse of this club, and of its loyal fans, is the ammunition, for many.

Don't disagree with that. But all I see is "it's not about us being ****, we're used to it". Which is only true to an extent. Not addressing that at all is giving the likes of Moose ammunition. Would be much better to say that "of course performances on the pitch are an element, but only a small one". Rather than denying it completely.

With talksport I was scheduled to be on at 3.15.They pulled it.They scheduled UTJ to do it instead.UTJ said as the protest had been arranged by Hammers United they should be speaking to us.-He would speak with us but not instead of us.
Thanks to UTJ for that. -Solidarity, West Ham unitedforchange.

Agree. It is coming to a head.

It is working out very similar to their time at Birmingham. They may have quashed the protests last time.

We have had some crap results when we were at the Boleyn and a few would kick off. It is a culmination of a number of things all bubbling to the surface.

results, stadium, squad, huge turnover v cheapness of running of the club, interest on loan payments, next level, training ground, scouting network, social media bull from the owners/family, baroness

The above was just a few I rattled off but you can then break down each of the above. Stadium - popcorn, distance, scaffold etc etc

Yet they, via the media, are trying to smear the fans with "they are only upset because of the results" but look what we have done.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if it was Moose himself who put the bubble in (no pun)

I have been working hard for Hammers United for 10 months and can honestly say that since the protest I have seen a change.-And people are joining up in large numbers.I honestly believe there will be double the number at the next protest and momentum will continue to gather pace.-Failure is not an option. west Ham unitedforchange.

It's all very well talking about solidarity but you had an opportunity to get your message over to a wider audience. Worse than that, someone who is stealing a living as a journalist was allowed to put his own spin on the protest.
Surely HU should have been able to scare up a spokesman.

Actually HU didn’t have a chance to put their point across did they..

Surely the important point is to get the message out there, not who is delivering it.
