Something a little different after Saturday's misery
"Death Of Guitar Pop" are a Brentwood-based ska-pop band, have only been going two years but already popular with sell-out shows round the country.
More importantly 5 of us in the band are Hammers fans!
Reason for posting - we’ve just released a Christmas single for CHARITY and we’re hoping a considerable number of fantastic hammers fans could help our push to raise awareness for the charity…and also gate-crash our band into the Christmas charts!
What’s it about?
It’s a charity record with 100% of the profits going to the amazing mental health charity CALM.
The campaign so far is going fantastically well - SkyBet currently have Death Of Guitar Pop at 20-1 for the Christmas Number One and it’s been hovering around the top 10 in the Amazon sales list.
However we want to go all the way!
The song is called "Feeling Like a Right James Blunt At Christmas" - it's a great old-fashioned jingley Christmas tune, with a funny video..and even a little fruity language for the kids!
What can we do?
Help from the greatest fans in the world would be amazing – we’d love to you support a fantastic charity and at the same time back an exciting Essex band.
So, please firstly see the link to download the single here. We’re talking about £1
Then please enjoy the song and video here
Thanks in advance for your support for a great cause and, of course…COME ON YOU IRONS!
