Yes why?

I don't care about their FA Cup history I just want to see us play them at the London Stadium as A) They are our Rivals, B) It would be funny to see how it would pan out at the Soulless bowl and C) I'm sure it would be one of the televised games

Who is it you would like btw Puff. Every FA Cup draw you say the same thing but I don't recall ever reading what teams you would prefer us to get.

Anyway it does not really matter who we get because we all know our club wont take it seriously and will want to get knocked out quickly to concentrate on yet another relegation battle.

You know, next level and all that.

Blackburn at home. One 8-2 thrashing at home many, moons ago aside, this is a team we usually beat

West Ham United v Blackburn overall record.

P109 W43 D21 A45 F180 A201

So not quite as you remember our games v them.

Mind you we have also only lost once to them in the last 17 meetings and beaten them twice in the cup so I would
be quite happy with Blackburn at home.

Bradley Dack will score a hat-trick knock us out and we will proceed to buy him in the summer for 72m quid only for him to do his ACL 6 minutes into our first game of the season away at Blackburn :D

I am a football Oracle..

I think this last bit of your post is bang on.

Every year I get the feeling whoever our manager is, they're told not to try too hard in the cups.

I used to look forward to & get quite excited about the 3rd round draw.
I don't anymore. What's the f*cking point.

Thinking today while watching the results that it feels like ages since we had a home fa cup game, them remember we had birmingham last year at home before that wonderful game against AFC Wimbledon, then a couple of seasons before that we lost 5-0 to city.

It be nice just to go on a cup run and make the later rounds such as the 6th round.

Of our last 14 FA Cup draws, four have been at home and ten have been away.

I'm with Puff. I have no desire to see us drawn away to Stevenage. I'd be terrified we'd get embarrassed by my local team! I'd much rather see us drawn at home every round and actually have a chance of winning it.

Last year was our year. It won’t break up for us again like it did last year.

Will watch the draw in anticipation that we get a favourable draw and hoping that it is our year.

I just hope that we take the cup seriously this year. Please.

Please just give us a home draw against any League 2 team.

home to Tranmere or similar lower league teams but not away to them please !

have to wonder if pelle will give us a chance in this one .

assuming we are mid table where I expect us to finish if we have turned the corner then why not give it a real go !

I would like Chelsea or Arsenal away simply because of the bigger ticket allocation - imagine 10 thousand of us at the Bridge or Emirates - it would remind me of the good old days. But I suppose the police or the local authority H and S would put the block on us getting that amount. One can dream.

doubt they would give us 10k. probably close half the ground as their plastics wont turn up. its what spurs did in the cup against us.

Like it or not, same as every other team in the competition, we will make use of our full squad for the FA Cup games. That is now the situation across the board

Whether the eleven + subs that our manager picks beats whatever eleven + subs the opposition select is unknown at this stage, and there is far more to it than who the actual players are

It is cup football. Smaller teams have always raised their games and beaten bigger ones

I would prefer a lower mid-level Championship side at home [similar to Birmingham last year]. That sort of team will probably play a weakened side and won't have the 'giant-killing' mentality that a team from old Div 3 might have
