Re: Board vs Pellegrini [POLL]
I voted for the management team.
If anyone needs it breaking down for them I can assist.

Ooooooh, now you're talking mate.
How far can we take it? Let's get Sully and Gold's old dears on there as well for a start as without them giving birth to the wretched little porn barons they'd never have been able to appoint anything.
Re: Board vs Pellegrini [POLL]
I agree, but we will undoubtably be in the minority because most will blame the board. Of course if the board had sanctioned a second summer of spending instead of belt-tightening we may well have been in an entirely different position. But in the real world of mid-table football clubs that wasn't going to happen. Did david Sullivan pick zab to play against st. maximum, or turn a dazzling brazillian playmaker into a timid shuffler or continue playing a clown in goal when an adequate but limited keeper was already on the books?
Re: Board vs Pellegrini [POLL]
our position is standard. not sure what the fuss is all about......
only difference is the board did sell our home and promised in return we would be in the champions league in a few seasons......
they've inflated our expectations of the club but we are still West Ham and will continue to grace both the EFL and EPL like we pretty much always have done.....

Re: Board vs Pellegrini [POLL]
Voted for neither, for me the major problem has been a few key injuries and the attitude of the players and the general drop off in form of the then”major stars” of last season in the likes of Anderson, Diop and until recent games Rice. Yes you can say that was management for wrong buys, wrong systems, wrong selection etc but the lack of application of a number of our so called better players has been appalling.
Change manager and suddenly they will likely try all over again as has happened at a number of clubs in recent years. This Prima Donna player power attitude sucks. Last night looked like it hurt Noble, Antonio and one or two others but most seemed they could not care less.

GSB.
It's the same every two years, and will be the same every two years in the future, whilst they are still at the helm, no matter who they employ.

The board of course, although Pellegrini doesn't get a free pass.
I take it UtJ you're not expecting press access to be restored any time soon then

Pellers looks a lot younger in that photo. Haven't seen the smile for a while either.

Re: Board vs Pellegrini [POLL]
I've voted both
The board are at fault for the constant propoganda, broken promises, and more so for what is clear through their "leaks" that they are actively promoting they are speaking to other managers whilst they still have a management team in place - completely undermining the bloke who's currently doing the job. (Did it with Avram, done it with Bilic to some extent, and have done with with Pellegrini now).
Pellegrini must take part of the blame - his failure to adapt the team in situations that is evident to the 60,000 people watching is obvious. The failure to have adequate backup in the key position has led to a lack of confidence that has spread like a disease throughout the team. The players last night looked like they gave up and are all waiting for the inevitable to happen as well. You can't sack a whole team so the leader has to take the blame and pay the price.
As West Ham, we want passion and people to give their all. When someone isn't the fans tell them and we expect those in charge to equally be dishing a rocket out where it is needed. Pellegrini is not the man when the chips are down who is going to ignite a team and this is evident through his post match interviews - he doesn't know what is needed to fix it and that for me is enough to say thanks, goodbye and good luck.
How I would love someone to want to buy our club - i fear we are stuck with the current owners and their heirs for a while to come.
It's all well and good protesting that we want them out but unless someone actually wants to buy it with the money to actually enforce a "next level change" then it's just noise to them.

Re: Board vs Pellegrini [POLL]
I voted both, but despise the board more for selling our home and moving into the soulless bowl.
I accepted us being bad at Upton Park. We moved as we were promised better, when we've actually got a lot worse.

Re: Board vs Pellegrini [POLL]
Was not under Allardyce. We had 4 years where players put in a shift or were out.

Re: Board vs Pellegrini [POLL]
The Board -
Pellegrini has been lied to , funds held back , certain players sold and not replaced in order for shareholder dividend to be met or for personal gain of owners .
Ageing players not replaced some out of their depth or injury prone , excessive length of contract given to players with no re-sale value and despite having an attendance third only to Manchester United and Arsenal our net spend is similar to Bournemouth whose capacity is 11,329 .
The undermining of Managers including Pellegrini is nothing short of disgraceful and totally unprofessional , misuse of transfer funds , Chairman has bought a rake of players from South America and Europe and has lost money on all transactions bar a couple . Boleyn Ground sold from under the noses of Supporters and funds not reinvested in players nor a new ground bought - the whole thing is so depressing and downright unprofessional it has driven Life-Long Fans away , some banned for protesting in various forms including the owner of Kumb .
Grant - Allardyce - Bilic - Moyes now Pellegrini have all failed under these owners , that can't be a coincidence .
I put the blame squarely on the owners and Ms Brady .

Re: Board vs Pellegrini [POLL]
We have always been sh*t, I can accept that. What I can't accept is that the move to the OS was supposed to be "the next level" and we are worse than when we left!
The board are fully to blame
