Spin, spin, spin.

"An astonishing four in five of those who voted believe that the club's Board - led by majority shareholder David Sullivan - bears the brunt of the blame."

In fact less than half - 47% - believe this.

Did you read the entire article, Vic? I quote:
And whilst nearly half of those who responded - 47% - held the Board solely to blame for the club's many problems, a further 33% believed that they shared the blame with the management team led by Pellegrini.
You know what 47%+33% makes, right?

My eyesight is fine, thanks for asking. Now go to specsavers and, after, read the part I quoted again.

You could also have said only 1% of WHUFC supporters believe that the players are to blame

Anjando’s post is fantastic and sums up things perfectly. So many similarities from Big Sam’s 2nd Premier League season, Slav’s 2nd season, and now Pellegrini’s 2nd season. Yes the manager has and is making mistakes and the players aren’t trying hard enough, but is it any wonder when the direction of the club is the way it is?

Maybe a mod can clear this up......

How come this thread has had over 8000 views and only 433 votes?

Seems a bit odd :?

I voted for the board.

In my head, all (perhaps most) of the bad **** that has happened in the last ten years can be traced back to them.

It's now got to the point where Pellegrini has to go. I have absolutely no faith in them choosing the right replacement.

That's 8000 views, but not from unique users. A single person may have viewed this thread 50 times.

Vic, Diogenes; rather than resorting to snarky comments, feel free to put your interest/disappointment to good use.

To describe the result as 'predictable' isn't necessarily to deride it; each to their own, after all, but given KUMB's openly anti-Board stance any other outcome would have better merited the description 'astonishing'.

Yup, and it's that kind of Momentum-style intolerance of even the most mildly expressed of questioning views that's helped Johnson get a further five years. For a 'moderator' your replies to me fall into the 'immoderate' category.

Thing is, there is a disparity between the board and fan interests.

The board run the club as a business, want to see it being financially stable, self-sustainable, etc.

Fans don’t really care so much about that stuff, but want big transfers, fancy name managers etc.

The board tried to serve their customers (the fans) by getting in Pellers. But then they decided from a business perspective he is only due a certain level of investment. This investment is insufficient for his style of play.

I don’t think anyone is completely in the wrong, it is just people do not pull in the same direction.
