The utter genius of it is starting to dawn on me.

Reverse engineering the abuse by attempting to state we are all apes is a logic so intensely flawless, there's a beauty to it which deserves some respect.

It's the equivalent to arguing that a woman slipped and fell onto your penis. I am now imagining Serie A looking at us all after this campaign is officially launched, with it's hands open and saying 'No?' with a rising inflection. 'Worth a try' it'll shrug to itself, as we all stare in total disbelieving amazement.

The second phase was throwing bananas branded with anti-racism slogans onto the pitch.

If the banana's were painted black, would it then be a show of support?

Hmmm, its actually a very clever allegory that exposes the pointlessness of race and racism. However, those it wishes to address will be too thick to get it, so does it serve a purpose? Probably/possibly not which is why I would object. Should people be outraged though, IMO, no.

Reading the rationale behind it actually makes sense, but I mean come on, who on earth would get that meaning by themselves?

Certainly not the Neanderthals this is aimed at or most others to be honest

If the people you are targeting don't get it, your campaign has failed. Whoever OK'd this wants firing

I can see what he's [ Fugazzotto ] is trying to say - ' We are all descended from apes so why single out black players with monkey chants ? ' .

However , someone should tell him that the Catholic Church have stated that people should be free NOT to believe in any part of the evolutionary theory .

I think it's a stroke of genius. To get people all over the world discussing / pondering over it must make this campaign the most successful ever. Those pictures will be iconic in years to come along with the message it intended to promote. The original artworks value will no doubt rocket in years to come the artist here knows full well what he's doing and we've all taken the bait.

Almost as ridiculous as one week getting all the Premier League teams to wear Rainbow laces in support of the LGBT+ community and then the following week hosting the World Club Cup in a country where homosexuality is illegal! As if anyone would do that!

A highbrow response to a lowbrow issue, that always works out well.
