Not sure we need to play 3 at the back, they rely on getting the ball to Vardy and beyond. We need to stop their midfield having the opportunity to slip it through, and also why I'd play Sanchez with Rice in the middle for this. That's where the game will be won and lost for me.

So you would swap ol' Nobes for Sanchez?hammers92 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2019 3:54 pm Not sure we need to play 3 at the back, they rely on getting the ball to Vardy and beyond. Yeah I would, we need to be disciplined in this one. We start fannying around and it'll be another 3 shipped in.

As jastons said, it's because of Leicester's late kick off yesterday. For the same reason Burnley vs Man Utd are playing at 7:45pm tomorrow on BT Sports instead of BT's normal 12:30pm slot and Man City vs Sheffield Utd on Sunday at 6:00pm (not televised).Pop Robson wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2019 12:31 am Why the 5:30pm if it ain't on TV ?

The thing about dropping Snodders and Creswell is that then we have zero set piece ability other than a Yarmelenko. Let's also not forget our defenders score more than our strikers recently. I'm in favor or keeping Snods because he puts in a shift, and frankly we dont have the depth to play without him.

I think it will be more than that. Five, six, even possibly, seven. They have far too much flair, skill and pace for our useless plodders to cope with and if they do, will they still give him one more game to turn it around? I just fail to understand their sentiment that the same man who orchestrated the mess we are in, is the right man to get us out of it.

A team deflated after a pounding and effectively being knocked out of the title race. Most half decent managers would get their team to tear into them, play forward and get up them early.
Fully expect us to sit off, let them build and regain confidence. 3-0 Leicester, claw most of their goal difference back from yesterday.

When did Snodgrass last put a good ball in?Daytonahammer wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2019 5:48 pm The thing about dropping Snodders and Creswell is that then we have zero set piece ability other than a Yarmelenko. A lot of media and pundits predicting wholesale Leicester changes tomorrow. Fuchs, Justin and even Morgan possibly to start and a rest for Vardy. Shows the respect they are giving us for this one. Might not be as bad as most are predicting??
I can still see an easy win for them regardless of who they put out, the likes of Choudhury, Albrighton and Iheanacho will still have far too much energy for us to cope with.
1-3. Hoping for the West Ham way again and maybe we can sneak a 1-0 or 2-1. But I doubt it. COYI

Suggesting Sanchez for Noble is like preferring Roberto to Fabianski.

Many of us do Eggsy but sadly, he has his limitations.Eggs'n'nuts wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2019 3:47 pm Sadly, with the seemingly shot to pieces morale, coupled with what feels like a complete lack of attitude and general p**s poor performances of our team, He's more than good enough for at least the bench.
FWIW, I like the bloke.
Mind you, another 2 goals & he'll be our joint leading goalscorer!

He has put in a few, if we had anyone worth a s*** in the air they would have been converted. All I'm saying is this, who do you replace him with?

The reality is that any team the Hammers are up against are going to create at least 5-6 golden opportunities to score and it really makes you wonder what position we would have ended up in last season without him. But don’t hope for too much from him as it’s going to take him a few games to realise what shxx is in front of him and how he’s gonna cope
Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Leicester City: Match thread (28/12)
There are a few changes to the starting line up but this isn’t one of them, unfortunately.

People voting with their feet.
Not really surprised.
Not saying it didn't happen, but I don't remember hearing it happening as much, at Upton Park.
