Mike Ashley’s the sort of bloke who can take the stick and shove two fingers up, he is a hard nosed businessman and you can’t take anything away from him with they way things have turned out for Newcastle. He wants to succeed at any cost even going below the belt (minimum wage) to do so. Newcastle are in a much better place today than they have been in a long time and they’re even spending money on players, yes they are spending, because in this business you have to speculate to accumulate (points/trophies/etc) or you end up where we are in NO MANS LAND without a trench in sight

I'm no fan of Moyes but to hear he only has one member of backroom staff and only one scout does make me feel a bit of sympathy for him. No wonder he is staying late at the training ground!

The reason? Broken promises on transfer funds.

We’ll be looking for another manager from next Sat, which would hopefully have the press finally outing these thieving ***** for what they really are
Genuine wow.

Just a thought as not seen it mentioned, but I wonder if this is an attempt on his part to force his bosses to stump up this week for fear of letting even more people come to the conclusion that they count amongst the scum of the earth.

Moyes jacking would be the ultimate example of what a complete clusterfuck GSB are making.

Who could we seriously get to consider the job after that? Christian Gross? Steve Kean?

Personally, IF he’d accept it I think it could be Mark Noble as caretaker player manager.

Oh that would go over well with the squad....

Hello boys, let me introduce your new manager.
You may know him as the worst player on the pitch most matches....... Mark Noble!!! Are you excited for him to tell you what the best way to play around his shambling corpse in midfield is?

Just what we need to make a clownshow complete, a player manager. No experience, not even one of the players who takes the coaching courses. But he's been here forever so, of course that'll work.

One possible question to be thrown at him should this happen may be ' I thought you had better players this time'.
Having said that, If Moyes does walk stating the transfer situation it could be a way for him to salvage some pride if not his managerial reputation.

I've got nothing against the bloke as it happens but would be delighted if he did what is being suggested .

Shall we have a whip round to 'encourage' him ?

Nothing would surprise me. Sullivan would probably instal Junior to run the side. Or second coming of Brooking.

He has to hang around late, as he needs to wait for Jack to stop messing around with the tumble drier before he can put the kits in there
