I'm well chuffed with that result lads, the biggest thing for me was keeping a clean sheet. When was the last time that happened? There was a lot more structure to the team all over the pitch, which, I thought was fantastic. So happy to see Haller and anderson hit the back of the net, hopefully motes can get a tune out of the both of them. Saw a little more of the ability of Haller also, with the strong hold up and run down the flank. However, I am a hammer so I wont get too happy just yet. I feel a little bad for Bournemouth, they are a depleted side, wish them the best but, it's a dog eat dog world.
Oggy MOTM for me. He is an absolute rock back there.
A brilliant and well needed performance. Yes, Bournemouth were awful but we haven’t been particularly good of late and you still have to beat what’s in front of you. There is of course still lots of work to do, Hallers passing was very wayward at times, and most of the time he just didn’t look interested, maybe that’s just his way. He did take his goal very well. We did look nakerd in the second half too but overall I thought it was a polished and disciplined display.
This is only the beginning, but the response was first class. I hope the Moyes haters are at least a little happier this evening.

Was it Kevin Kilbane? (not sure) Embarrassing himself though, ridiculous stance he took. Don't see it was a foul.
As soon as I saw the replays I was convinced VAR would overturn it. It was Creswell's calf that followed through onto the opponent's shin and that's what saved him. Even though Cresswell won the ball, in this day and age you have to be mindful of the follow through. Had it been studs or even the edge of his boot, he'd have gone and rightly so.
Amazing what can be achieved by running about a bit more quickly, moving the ball forward more quickly and getting into challenges more quickly and aggressively.
Bournemouth are in a proper state.
Need to follow up in the cup and away at Sheffield United - and not lose sight of the fact that we'll rarely play a team in as dismal a mess as Bournemouth. Signings still required.

Can't ask for anything more for his first game in charge. Next four league games won't be anywhere near as easy as this though, Sheffield Utd, Everton, Leicester and then Liverpool. Need to carry this momentum into the Gillingham game
Great result and a good performance especially considering had bad we've been lately. However there's still plenty of room for improvement especially in front of goal where we were still passing when it would have been better shooting.
Bournemouth are in serious trouble and I think they're definite relegation candidates.

A resounding 4-1 victory for The Mighty West Ham sees the Home Crowd burst into ' Davey Moyes' Claret and Blue Army ' for the final 5 minutes of the match and everyone goes home happy and drunk with more toys for their children and kisses for their partners .
Can't really fault that performance against an, admittedly, awful Bournemouth side who persisted in playing themselves into trouble time and time again
A couple of observations:
1) Ogbonna was absolutely superb. Bournemouth didn't offer much but that was because Oggy had Wilson in his pocket all match
2) Great to see Anderson scoring. Hopefully that will really give him a boost
3) Haller. A very mixed bag. He certainly looked more up for it than other matches and used his strength well, plus of course a great finish for the goal. However, his passing is abysmal and many moves broke down due to a misplaced simple pass
4) There was a lot of empty seats over there this evening

Yes, Bournemouth were bad but so were Arsenal and they managed to walk away with a 3-1 win. Just a better attitude all around. Let's see what the next few games bring us.
