Lanzini is dogshite since his injury mate. Looks like he's forgotten how to be, or lost the will to be a professional footballer. Fornals should be playing.traxop wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 8:59 pm I'm not sure what game you're watching. Lanzini has been good this half, he's being used as our linkup through the middle. We've been able to ping balls to him with his back to goal and he's been able to convert those positions into flicks around the corner to spring our wide men or trap and turn. We've been missing that kind of link up play for quite some time now. Before today, we were just lumping balls for Antonio and Haller to contest. More of the same from Lanzini as far as I'm concerned.

We'd be 5-0 up and the game put to bed if we had Allen in midfield.

Our crossing from both dead and live balls has been terrible. SHU showing a bit more life this half.

Comment of the day on the BBC:
Steve Bland: I’d rather watch 45 mins of Meghan and Harry analysis than watch another half of this. What a dire game.

lazini was brillianton the turn and breaking the lines with his acceleration and close control.. unfortunately he has lost some of that nippiness since his injury... when he first came back he kept the same style only instead of leaving defenders in his wake they'd be surrounding him and nicking it backmonkeyhanger wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 9:01 pm I’d bring on Fornals for Lanzini second half. I was a huge Lanzini fan but he seems to have completely lost most of his talent. Anderson should have scored that chance he had. Haller getting into good positions but needs more service.
I really hope we go on and nick this one as my first full season at the Boleyn was the 2006/7 Tevez season and I hate what these c**** accused us of. It was the ‘greatest escape’ winning 7 of our last 9 games.
he is still struggling to adjust
fornals in for lanzini imho
noble has been off today as well and masuaku needs to release the ball quicker... id also prefer if balbeuna left the difficult long balls to someone with better passing.. apart from that we have been pretty good imho
poor fab... anyone think randolph is still a waste of money? we are up for a relegation fight without fab, bless martin, he has done well but i am doubtful he can keep it up... still better than the glacier roberto

Re: Sheffield United v West Ham United: Match Thread
100% he would and I mentioned previously in another thread that he could possibly become a cult hero along the lines of Ginger Pele for effort and commitment to the team. Think we're fighting a losing battle on that front mate. Our lot make cult heroes out of players for having curly hair or a so called hardman reputation as in the case of Dailly and Repka who were both liabilities in my eyes.Ironing Board wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 9:02 pm The fundamental question to me is, would Allen improve our midfield? I believe he would. Would give us more control in the middle of the park.
