What an absolute joke. So they get rid of some guys after doing a good job, and they are annoyed because someone says they do not like the decision? Or because he said he never saw the owners (or was it just Brady and Sullivan? I can't recall).

This is the sort of ego-driven bull**** that holds the club back from actually moving forward.
I like how it’s taken you all of 1 week to open your eyes to Moyes possibly not getting his new shiny training facility or youth set up

They won’t even let him have his desired coaches

Ridiculous decision by the board, another to add to the list.

Don’t have much sympathy for Moyes not getting the staff he wants though as he knew exactly what he was signing up for working for them again.

People saying about bibs and cones, are they not confusing Pearce with Dicks? Pearce has coached and managed at a decent level for a number of years, I don’t doubt he had a lot to offer.

Pearce is an awful manager but he's a good defensive coach. Draws at home and the odd away win probably kept City up in the late 00's. Now look at us.

Just perhaps Moyes didn't want him and the board said blame us, they will anyway

Is Enzo Maresca still at the club?

I suspect that Kim Jung Sullivan took exception to Pearce alluding to the fact that Moyes did a good job keeping the club up and raising £25m in sales!!

Not overly fussed about Pearce not coming. This is all based on what he thinks remember it's not fact so no point getting all raged up!

As a player he was top draw but there's been a lot of question marks about him as a manager and coach. I've read several times that he's a really dour character.

Let's see who Moyes brings in.

I truly hope Brady gets some karma flying her way someday, horrible woman.
If the karma is very spiky and laced with poison I agree.

What's Kevin Nolan up to these days?

Anyone who chooses to bring a goal keeper on up front, in the hope of it being a managerial master stroke, shouldn't be responsible in any way, for implementing his ideas on any player, especially ours.

With the position the club are in at the moment, I do feel that sometimes you have to eat humble pie. Criticism itself is not always harmful and it would have shown a change in stance from the board to allow Moyes to bring in whoever he wanted in his back room staff. The main thing we need now is stability and to be honest many West Ham fans probably feel that Pearces criticism was fully justified. I sure they could have sorted this all out behind closed doors and got on with the task in hand. With the owners being in such privileged positions they should accept criticism and be the bigger people, move on and do what’s right for the club

Don’t go telling him that, he thinks he’s 6ft 5.

I take this with a pinch of salt. It's possible David Moyes didn't want him back. Just because you're a legend doesn't make you a good manager. I can't imagine Moyes signed a contract without discussing his coaching staff.

He would have known immediately, but it didn’t stop him coming back. And nor should it have, Pearcey is good but easily replaced.

He’s not a very good coach. Couldn’t care less he’s not back.
Alan Irvine is the key man in that set-up.

There are plenty of talented young coaches working at the FA would I’d rather see get a chance.

Lets be honest, he is a good bloke, but another member of the Euro 96 coaching curse

Not really a big loss, his management and coaching career has been awful at best really.
