Ticket Office down/shambles

Post by Big George » Sat Jan 11, 2020 1:44 pm

I'm having a nightmare trying to buy my boy's ticket for the Cup game. (he is also a STH)

The online account doesn't give me the option despite him being in my network.

He doesn't have his own account because he is 9.

The ticket office had me as the "next to be answered" on the phone for twenty minutes, twice.

Anyone else?

This is typical West Ham. Send an email out on Friday afternoon saying STH holder have until Monday morning to confirm their seats, then don't answer the phones all weekend. :thdn:

George,

I signed my son up to the cup scheme on his U-16 STS, using my debit card details. He got his ticket automatically on thursday. Perhaps sign up to the scheme over the weekend.

Cheers Pentoville.

If they were all Saturday 1500 I would but Mrs BG not keen on the boy going to night games.

Have been trying to book ticket for Cup game online for last 90 mins. Eventually got a message saying attempt had timed out. Logged back in and it won't let me reselect my ticket to put it into the basket. Ridiculous.

Goot through at thhe thhird time of asking after waiting for 25 minutes.

The game can't be added to season cards so they are sending out paper tickets, unbelievable

Why haven't you registered him for an account George? My two boys (10 now) have had accounts since they first started doing this online business. Buying cup tickets is a breeze (when the site's working properly).

The only pain is that I can't link them both to me so can buy or TT all/any tickets in one session, rather than having to log into each account separately.

Took me about 2 or 3 minutes to book ticket online just now. No problem whatsoever.

A mate couldn’t log on all day.

That call has you about a score.

I was gonna do the same for my 2 kids, but in settings there's an option to manage rather than just assign other season tickets in your network. Once I selected this I was able to book all 3 tickets in one go.

so, when I logged in it shows my ticket as reserved and offers me to check out and pay. BNut it also shows me as opted in to the home cup scheme. So surely that means they will do it automatically? Anyone Know?

Mine was done on Thursday so I'd say it would have been done by now if you were properly enrolled in the scheme. A lot of people were automatically enrolled when renewing their ST so I opted out and then back in again just to be sure.

They've just tweeted to say the second point for cup scheme members will be added nearer the time.

I'm on the automatic scheme and got a mail last week confirming the purchase of the tickets. Didn't have to do anything.
