Sounds like it'll be an entertaining one then.

Glad I'm missing it tomorrow if this is our best hope of victory. Christ.

With Leicester, Livarpool & ManC coming up, this is SUCH a must-win game, it's ridiculous.

I’m worried about Anderson not playing. By far our best player since Moyes arrived. If we can’t beat Everton without Richarlison and Sigurdsson then we really will struggle to keep ourselves in this league.

Lose and the protesters will get blamed for undermining the team.

Good luck tomorrow, boys and girls. :crest:

 the team most lacking in fight in this league is ours.

It might well be true that first goal is even more crucial than usual as both teams are a bit wobbly, but they are fighting to stay at their club.- one with owners putting in the money to replace even their more expensive players that they aren't getting a tune out of - ours are looking at Rudolph and Allen and knowing they are cemented in place if they want to be.

I wanted to be positive this morning... It's not working.

Everton will expect the win. They dont fear us at all.
This is a huge game for us. Nice to see that in 18 days of the window we targeted this and brought in a decent striker back up and mid player on loan.
Very clever planning !!
No doubt it will be up to Noble and Rice in the middle with Lanzini or Snod floating around close to them.
No idea of the predicted line ups/ Is Anderson and Antonio fit? If we play with 3 central defenders , then why not let the beast loose at right wing back?
Praying for a win today which will ease the relegation fear.
At 20 Rice has been dropped in at the deep end this season by the owners. Using his youth and progression as an excuse to not spend in midfield as they needed.
Rice at 20 with Noble coming up to 33 and Snod 33 isn,t balanced.
COYI Bring it home today !!!

Calvert-Lewin is the one who could cause our defence problems

To answer my own question, no goals in 16 league games.

Absolutely nailed on.

Mark Lawrenson has us to win this 2-1.

I tried searching 'Lawro/Lawrenson/badger's' to give the thread a boost but to no avail

Don't worry, I'll put a bet on him to score, it scuppered Solanke and Wilson, it'll work on Kean.

So typical West Ham, have optimistic hope for the game, only to be trounced by Everton.
Can always rely on Walcott to play his best game of the season as he always seems to do against us!

Has there been any injury update?

We could really do with Masuaku, Anderson and Antonio being in the squad.

I'd be tempted to throw a youngster like Ngakia in at right back, although Zabaleta has usually faired well against pace.

Sidenote: the word 'faired' autocorrected to 'failed' multiple times when I typed it.

Seen on twitter that there’s to be four changes. Guess that’s Fab, Masuaku, Anderson and then either Noble or Zab.

Randy, Diop, Fornals, Snoddy/Ngakia?

Although if Antonio is fit, he could play for Anderson and then Fornals for Nobes.

Obviously autocorrect knows Zab better than you do.

What are the chances of us reverting back to 4 at the back today, seeing as we're at home? Gave us our best result in a long time against Bournemouth. Or are we stuck with the turgid back 5 for the rest of Moyes reign?
