Leicester City 4-1 West Ham Utd (22/01/20)

Post by -DL- »

FA Premier League, Wednesday 22nd January 2020

KO: 1930

I think we'll get something from this if we defend as well as we did today v Everton, and don't switch off.

I'll take a draw as it stands, but if we get the 3, I'll be extatic.

Be amazed if we get anything up there.
The one plus (how f*cking desperate) is playing tomorrow, they have one day less to recover.

I can't see us getting anything either. In fact I wouldn't be totally surprised if we don't win again all season. That's how pessimistic I am now. Pellegrini might have had to go, but Moyes was not and is not the answer.

We're ONLY staying up if there remains 3 teams more useless than us.
So far, so good...

Sadly I agree with the other posters who say we won't get anything from this. Probably 3-0 them and bottom three looms as I think Bournemouth will be the next one's down there to turn it around

We'll respect the point, and hail it as a victory going into the games against Liverpool and ManCity.
11 men behind the ball, play to counter.
Wouldn't be surprised if this ends up being 1:1

1-1 draw if we are disciplined. 0-2 if we’re not.

Big test this one

I would'nt hold much hope because Leicester will have a day left to recover - Wolves played us 48 hours after their previous game and third game in a week and they ran the arses off us!!

They've won only one of their last five at home - Wigan in the cup .
They get 24 hours less rest as they play tomorrow.
They have a decisive league cup semi final next week

It will be interesting to see what kind of team they field.

As for us....I suppose Masuaku, Anderson and Antonio might come back into full contention.

I’ve got a feeling we will get at least a point here.

Hoping Antonio and Anderson will be back to give us some pace.

Randolph

Zabeleta Diop Ogbonna Cresswell

Snodgrass Rice Noble Anderson

Antonio Haller

Subs: Martin Balbeuna Lanzini, Ajeti Masuaku Fornals Reid.

I don’t think Leicester are as good as their League position, but I also don’t think we’ll have enough about us to get anything from them. Vardy running the channels against Zabaleta and Cresswell is frightening.

Sorry to be negative but with a midfield of Noble. Snoody and Fornals we will lose.
Nobes had a decent first half today but by the 55th minute he couldn't support the attacks and was far too deep. He just doesn't have the legs I'm afraid.
