Formerly known as David ****ing Speedie whilst at Chelsea , but helped us get promoted with Billy Bonds , so went up in most people’s esteem and ****ed off to Leicester city soon after

September 1974 was the first time I saw Leicester at Upton Park. We went 1 nil down but ended up thrashing them 6-2!! Things have certainly changed since then.

Leicester’s oldest industry is hosiery and knitwear. Under Pellegrini some West Ham players had a stitch after 10mins.
