Remaining Fixtures Predictions.

Post by brothernero » Sat Jan 18, 2020 8:55 pm

Last 16 League games. Your Predictions..

Leicester City (Away) Lose
Liverpool (Home) Draw (They cant win every game and I have a feeling)
Brighton (Home) Draw
Man City (Away) Lose
Liverpool (Away) Lose
Southampton (Home) Draw
Arsenal (Away) Lose
Wolves (Home) Draw
Tottenham (Away) Lose
Chelsea (Home) Draw
Newcastle (Away) Lose
Burnley (Home) Win
Norwich (Away) Draw
Watford (Home) Win
Man United (Away) Lose
Aston Villa (Home) Win

I have tried to be as positive as I can be. A bad run of results coming up and then a late surge. 15 points. Ending with 38 in total.

Might just be enough but I think that will see us down in 18th place. Goal Difference could prove to be vital.

You mean this one or the one before I edited. I put Reaming in stead of remaining. DOH!

I expect we'll get a reaming in some of those games

That game against Villa is looking like the 6 pointer to end all 6 pointers.

It is quite possibly we will not get a single point away from home here onwards.

Thankfully we don’t play at an athletics stadium and we have The Boleyn atmosphere to call upon. Brady, Sullivan and Gold - Thank you all for this!

Could be the 18th place decider, Grealish 99th minute winner from a a free kick given away by sub keeper Haller filling in for injured Randolph as we had no keepers on the bench (9 mins added time due to VAR delays cancelling 3 of our goals for offside by an inch)

Gonna guess we'll get another 10 points at home where we'll draw with Brighton and beat Southampton, Burnley and Watford.
Away I'm gonna guess we'll get another 7 points starting with a draw at Leicester and then going on to beat Newcastle and Norwich. I believe that will take us onto 40 points, whether that would be enough remains to be seen.
Haven't taken into consideration the Villa game because if we need something from that to stay up I think we'll bottle it, but hopefully we would have done enough by then.

If we dont get a 1st team rb cm and Cf before the Brighton game we will be lucky to get 12 points. And we will be down.

If we get players of the right calibre i predict 18 points.

Being very (very) positive...22pts leaving us on 45pts. Requires both Antonio and Fab to be available for most, if not all games, as I doubt we'll sign anyone in the rest of the window.

Do you mean 32 points end of season total or an extra 32 points to add onto the 23 we already have TOMOS? If it's the latter I'll have some of what you're drinking :)

Tomas if we were to pick up 32 points from the last 16 games I will wear a Sheffield United top whilst Singing "David Sullivan is the greatest and Karen Brady Should be Queen"

I make that as needing 9 wins 5 draws and only 2 defeats or 10 wins 2 draws, 4 defeats.

I think I am safe. :D

Blimey, if we have home draws against Brighton (didn’t we draw with them away?), Wolves and Soton then we deserve to go down. We will win two of those and draw one. We will beat Norwich away too. So that’s another 6 points!

We won’t go down.

Bondso - Some people have us drawing to both Brighton and Soton at home? What is the rationale for those predictions? Under Moyes at home we hammered Bournemouth and got a point at a resurgent Everton?

Leicester City (Away) Draw
Liverpool (Home) Lose
Brighton (Home) Win
Man City (Away) Lose
Liverpool (Away) Lose
Southampton (Home) Win
Arsenal (Away) Draw
Wolves (Home) Win
Tottenham (Away) Draw
Chelsea (Home) Draw
Newcastle (Away) Draw
Burnley (Home) Win
Norwich (Away) Win
Watford (Home) Draw
Man United (Away) Lose
Aston Villa (Home) Win

I have us at 47 points which IMO is a much more realistic points tally. I have given us an inevitable home blip against Watford where we draw. It is utterly conceivable that we beat Chelsea at home but in fairness have given us a draw. We will get some surprise bonus points from somewhere which I have reflected in a point at Spurs and away at Newcastle. This could just as easily come from Man Utd away which I have marked us down as a loss for.

Norwich and Bournemouth are dead in the water. They will be joined by Villa or perhaps Brighton - but not us!

Hopefully it will be enough to keep us up. We need to get Antonio back and keep him fit. We already look better under Moyes defensively we just need to get the forwards to spark.

Iron Ilunga - you honestly think we will only lose one of our last 12 games and after Liverpool will go nine games unbeaten? ???

I am usually fairly positive but that is mental!

I think we will win 4 and draw 1 of our home games, and win one and draw two of our away games given us 41 points
