Iron Ilunga - you honestly think we will only lose one of our last 12 games and after Liverpool will go nine games unbeaten? ???
Yes, hence my post. More importantly I think we will get around 47 points and be comfortably clear of relegation.

Do you mean 32 points end of season total or an extra 32 points to add onto the 23 we already have TOMOS? If it's the latter I'll have some of what you're drinking :)
32 + 23 , mate .

32 points will be the top end of what they can achieve but it'll be over 20 points .

Grape + Peach High Juice [ Asda ] + Lemonade or Apple + Elderflower High Juice [ Tesco ] + Lemonade . :D

Asda only do Apple Cordial so I'll add Elderflower Cordial + Lemonade for something different .

From the last 16 games that works out a 6W, 4D and 6L.

22 pts plus the 23 pts we already have = 45pts. A bit close for comfort and there are some massive home games in there that we absolutely have to win.

ironilunga I don't think we will beat Brighton or Southampton at home for very good reasons. They are both much better teams than us imho.

We have failed to beat Brighton on all five occasions we have played them since their promotion and find teams like them hard to beat, so why should I be so confident now?

Southampton despite yesterdays loss to Wolves are a far improved side and I can only see a draw v them. Plus and I am sure this will sound crazy to you, but we have beaten them 4 times on the spin, West Ham don't do 5 straight wins v the same team all that often.

Overall I think we are a very poor team with a poor squad and a has-been manager and a board who will do everything they can NOT to help if it involves money.

What have you seen from us so far this season to think all of a sudden a team that has picked up 23 points from 22 games and has a pretty tough run of fixtures coming up will go from that to a team capable of picking up another 23/24 points and go on a long run of red hot form where we will lose just 1 of 11 games and just 2 of it's last 16.

Lets also remember that we are pretty woeful team at our new "Home"

You really see us going 6-6-2 for the rest of the season? Wish I was Still a betting man, would go mega huge on you being no where near right.

Man United (Away) L
Aston Villa (Home) W

15 points, I think we will stay up-just. I've not seen anything from us recently to suggest we can get much more from those remaining fixtures.

That's a 50% win ratio, mate. Unprecedented for West Ham, I would say. Even 40% is going some for us. Personally, I think it will be more like 30%

Aston Villa (Home) Win

That's another 19 points, but could see dropping some of the points I have there against Brighton, Chelsea and Norwich.

So realistically more like 16 points. 23+16 = 39

This is assuming no good transfers in before the end of January. If we get a solid midfielder and an RB then about another 6 points: 23+22=45

So to clarify Brothernero, we won’t beat Brighton because we haven’t beaten them in the past 5 matches and we won’t beat Soton because we have beaten them in the past 4 matches?

19 more pts from our remaining fixtures. Putting us on a total of 42 pts. Our goal difference could take a battering with Liverpool twice and Man City in the next few weeks also.

To close to call.

Not the biggest fan of allardyce but read something when his teams were fighting for relegation he would break the fixtures into groups of three and expect his players to achieve a minimum requirement from those groups. I know Moyes is our man in charge but feel he could adapt a similar strategy given we our in a relegation battle.

I like this concept and based on the following remaining games I have my predictions. Granted I have probably been optimistic but we can’t sell ourselves short.

Leicester City (Away)
Liverpool (Home)
Brighton (Home)

Minimum 4 points. Realistically I am going for a point in Wednesday and to beat Brighton at home anything else is a bonus.

Man City (Away)
Liverpool (Away)
Southampton (Home)

Minimum 3 points. Again a Southampton Home win. Anything against the top two is again a bonus.

Arsenal (Away)
Wolves (Home)
Tottenham (Away)

Minimum 4 points. This group of fixture is we’re it could be lost or won for me. Optimistically I’m going for a home win and take a point against one of our rivals.

Chelsea (Home)
Newcastle (Away)
Burnley (Home)

Minimum 4 points. This has to be a minimum. I expect us to win against Burnley and draw one of the other two games.

Norwich (Away)
Watford (Home)
Man United (Away)
Aston Villa (Home)

Minimum 6 points. Difficult set of fixtures to predict getting to the tail end of the season. However if we want to survive a minimum 6 points against other relegation teams and anything against united a bonus.

This would give us 21points meaning we would end up with 44 points which should be enough to survive.

Leicester City (Away) Leicesters form has dropped. Can see a draw there.
Liverpool (Home) Liverpool in another league loss
Brighton (Home) Brighton are tough and work their socks off. No idea that one
Man City (Away) . Loss
Liverpool (Away) Loss
Southampton (Home) Saints have hit form and are scoring goals with Ings. Nice to have a striker that pops in goals. Close game to call
Arsenal (Away) If Arsenal have their 2 strikers and Peppe on pitch we will get beat.
Wolves (Home) Euro football for Wolves might enable us to get a win in this game.

Tottenham (Away) Loss
Chelsea (Home) Draw
Newcastle (Away) Going for a win. Newcastle will be more attacking in this game and they have got most points from counter play
Burnley (Home) No idea
Norwich (Away) Norwich fighting relegation and at this stage we could be right close to them. Tough call
Watford (Home) Watford have hit form , another tough game
Man United (Away) Going for a draw here .

Aston Villa (Home) No idea

Going through them games its obvious we are " Bang In Trouble " Transfer window will now dictate our fate this season. What Happens if Rice and Haller pick up injuries or 2 other key players?

It is very possible from the next 6 games that we wont get more than 4 points. I was optimistic before this fixture list was shown.

Thats where i have us. Very tight unless we bring in at least 2 key players by end of window. Also teams down the bottom will be looking for a couple of players.

You're right and I'll admit there are 3 ' optimistic ' results on my list - Liverpool , Brighton and Wolves all at Home , 3 teams we normally struggle against - 9 points which could go either way so yeah I do realise my ' predictions ' are overly in favour of West Ham but I'm hoping that we too will improve our form like Southampton have .
Traditionally West Ham have finished well but we're talking 16 games here - we've been struggling for a long time but under Moyes at least we're not conceding 3 goals per match [ well not yet anyway :) ] , if we can add goals to that then I can see us winning a few more games than we lose .
January isn't the time to begin dismantling or rearranging your squad but if we can add one maybe two more players this month it may make the difference we're looking for .

14 points going into the last game - putting us on 37 with one to play....the final game will be the squeekiest of squeaky bum times.

however.....I'll also go for an optimistic / lucky draw in the Cup:
WBA (Home) WIN
Portsmouth/Barnsley (Home) WIN
QPR/Sheff Wed/Reading/Cardiff (AWAY) WIN
Trip to Wembley.....then like my dreams.....
