Taking me daughter to this so hoping for a win but doubt it. I’d happily chant Slavs name, last time we actually felt like West Ham was under him. Unfortunately seems like decades ago now.

Re: Cresswell. He always does that thing, turn his back and leaves a leg dangling. His serious injury has changed him for good. All of our FBs are consistently terrible.

Us to scrape a 1-0 win if they rotate their side as they did in the 3rd Round. Anything close to their first XI and we'll be out

That well may be but as a regular visitor to the Boleyn in the 70s 80s 90s and 2000s I've earned the right to go when I want.

I'm also bringing at least two people to their first game. Hopefully future fans.

I hope Slaven gets the last laugh, West Brom beat us, and he can stick two fingers up to the cretins running this club for the shitcuntery they put him through.

TBH ~ I couldn't care less about this match. I did at the time the draw was made, as we had just enjoyed two wins on the trot and a bit of a new manager bounce. But now, one month on, normal service has been resumed and I think he will be under instructions to throw this. Even if he isn't, our squad is rubbish, confidence low and there is not a cat in hell's chance we will win the thing anyway

I am always intrigued by these intimations that the owners have asked for us to the 'throw' the game?

How does that work? Does Sullivan get all the players in a room and demand they lose?

Does he tell Moyes explicitly he wants us to lose?

Or is that Moyes is informed that the league is priority, and then it is up to him how he prioritises to achieve whatever goal he has been set?

if it is the last one [which is very likely], it is hardly 'instructions to throw the game', is it?

Nearly every manager in the league system will likely have a similar dilemma with owners [either explicitly or implicitly) prioritising Champions League qualification, avoiding relegation, chasing promotion etc

Did Watford's owners instruct Pearson to throw the game last night?

I'm bringing a couple of newbies as well, apologies to the majority that I am looking forward to it and I hope we stuff them :D

Will gave Slav a cheer & clap before the game, but during I hope he makes loads of tactical errors and allows our quick & fast moving football to create 32 chances meaning we win 2-1.

If there is a priority then that insinuates that the lesser priorities game is inconsequential as long as maximum focus is given to the more significant game. Players will be told to conserve energy, play conservatively etc...the tone will infiltrate into the subconscious of players.

Following up on this, apparently the first two were due to injury. Is that true of Masuaku or has he followed the yellow brick road far enough to get that brain?

"We picked up a couple of injuries in the game but that's happening at the moment. We picked up injuries to Snodgrass and Arthur, who'll be out this weekend. We're looking at Angelo [Ogbonna] who fell on his back."

Could we see Winston make an appearance in this? Seeing as Oggy is out? Or do you think he'll stick with Diop and The General?

Old father time
Fornals
Lanzini
Noble
Rice
Ajeti
Haller

Subs Antonio, Randy, Reid, Cardoso, Sanchez, Cullen? and a couple of more kids.
