One thing that should interest the Irish is that any of the four of the french defense will be suspended if they pick up a yellow card tonight.
Mr. Keane being the very sporting player that he is, will surely see to that...

Feeling confidant about the game tonight, and hopefully can get a win. If we loose its all over, I dont think we will get a win in paris

Just got this on Iraqgoals, Keen just missed a sitter (though was adjudged offside anyway). 30 mins nils each.

TBH France were the better side, but not by that much and Ireland were always in with a chance. There were a couple of chances they should have buried but I think there were infringements called on both of them. France's goal may have been a bit fortunate as it looked like Given had that shot covered with his dive but it took a deflection from St.Legers leg which sent it over him. The ref made a few other naff calls on Ireland attacks too.

Any hope for us tonight???

All we need is 1-0 to take it to extra time but I can't see France not scoring. My head says 1-1 but my heart says....

hard to see us getting through,lets just hope they are feeling a little to relaxed and we can nick a goal,would make it interesting,would be nice to qualify,Nice to be there with England,two teams to keep an eye on.come on the paddies

Wonder if the Irish find the hand of God so funny now?

But they have every right to be angry. Poor stuff from Henry and even worse was the fact he ran off celebrating as if he';d scored the goal himself.
