So hard to believe. I half expect the result to be over turned by VAR.

Of course Wrighty couldn’t let that go either. He said, “ it’s such a shame to see so many beautiful women crying” Lalas replied, “ there are a lot of beautiful women smiling too.,”

Ian Wright? Are you not watching the BBC.

Or is he on the radio.

Fox t.v. for us in the States.....

Southgate will stand by his man..but he did absolutely NOTHING to justify his next selection..

not looking for a scapegoat either.....Lingard was almost the same but he didn't miss two sitters.......

And all this ”let’s lose to Belgium to get to the final easier” sounded quite arrogant to the rest of the world. Fwiw I like the new attitude among the young english players, they are much more fearless, and joyful to watch.
Commiserations, Voronin. Today, we just got it right.

No I'm much the same...it was too straightforward...I remember Italia 90 and I can't believe it's taken 28 years to replicate that achievement, but I still can't believe we have

Those analysis vids where they move the players around remind me of Terry Gilliam cartoons.

Anyway

Not really. Don't find anything weird about it at all.

It's just something that has taken longer than it really should to happen since the last time.

Fully expect them now to make the Final. Don't think either Russia or Croatia will pose any threat. (Imho)

Yeah, Wright does the pre, post and halftimes on tv for Fox. I think he runs back and forth between Fox and the BBC. He and Kelly Smith do analysis. Tbh, she’s better at it.

Cool got you now Pete.

I will be a lone voice in this, but I cant stand Ian Wright. Find him one of the worse Football pundits out there. He also co-hosts Sundays 5 live phone-in with Kelly Cates. She is fine, but he is even more insufferable on that.

You might be older than me:I’m 40. Don’t remember west ham 80 or losing in 81,I do remember England 86,90 and 96 I was there 06. *(play off finals aside)ive never seen success. I’d love to have it just once.

Congratulations to you all, I had every faith that you would win again.

The semi final beckons and this young side will now start to believe in themselves now.

Having no fear is what they need to go further and Southgate is doing that job very well to be fair.

Right now is the time for you to celebrate and feel proud to be English, there is nothing quite like the feeling you are having right now.

I am very happy for you all :)

He just contradicted himself about Sterling...Kelly Smith said he's woeful let's not beat about the bush..Wrighty had already said he should have put the game away...but then says...he played well..
