Not really any difference, its just doubles and a treble. 4 bets. I basically see it as a treble with a safety net, which I can put a decent stake on.

Sort of like,

Putting a rumour about that a manager has been sacked or something, like a photoshop thing of an official site or something, then watching the price on betting markets suddenly fall on the managers sacking and then pressing the lay button.

What a dastardly deed.........I'm sure it never happens.

Re; tipsters.

Not specifically about anything that has been mentioned but a general comment.

Anyone that asks for money for their tips, and there are loads..........why are they asking for your money ?

You will get the answer come back "to cover my expenses"...............

Errrr no, it's because you are not as good as you claim to be and you want another income....... (our cash)....

Edvald Boasson Hagen to win the young riders jersey at the Tour De France. 50/1

He says he is one of the rising stars in the sport and will be marshalling Bradley Wiggins, which could drive his performance.
Done well at the recent Criterium du Dauphine.

Unfortunately it's not an E/W market - or at least it doesn't appear to be - so it's only if you have a couple of quid to chuck at it.

Cheers RARS  Paddy Power are offering E/W 1/3 odds for 1/2. Have thrown a cheeky quid E/W on him

No sweat.

I took BSB's advice and stuck £250 e/w on it with Boylesports, but on 66/1

I do hope that was £2.50 and not £250

Have started to do some proper analysis on football recently and have created my own weighted based ratings system. Has proven to be decent recently, for example it gave me a 59% chance that Ukraine wouldn't score (well, not officially anyway) so backed England to win to nil and also France 72% chance not to score against Spain again backed Spain to win to nil. It also made me back doubles and trebles on the following quarter final games; Spain (v France) -1, Germany (v Greece) -1, Portugal (v Czech) -1 and England\Italy Draw. Albeit for the woodwork in the Portugal game, I would have landed a 2k bet.

On to the Semi Finals, and even with Ronaldo, there is still a 60% chance that Spain will keep a clean sheet and with a 45% chance that they will get 2 or more goals, this has -1 written all over it. The Germany - Italy game has a 78% chance that Italy will score 1 or less and a 40% chance that Germany will get 2 or more, so again fancy -1. Throw in the win and to qualify double and there are my bets for the Semis.

Spain -1 Single
Germany - 1 Single

Spain -1 & Germany -1 Double

Spain to win & Germany to win Double

Spain to qualify & Germany to qualify Double

A few quid

£300 total, half of my winnings from my quarter final bets. Obviously I am betting what I can afford to lose and would advise others to do the same.

Do you think there will ever be a way of getting your winnings in cash through the computer.............like an ATM machine for your winnings.... ?

I miss the feeling of winning notes................the smell.

Your balance is 0.10..............I mean you don't even get to pop the 10p in your little pocket

I know what you mean. Obviously the thrill of winning is equal on both, but to walk into a shop with a 'cheshire cat' grin, watch meticulously as they count out each note, the feel of the notes on your hand when they hand it over and then the daunting task of making it home without getting mugged, cannot be beaten

And of course the obligatory sour face middle aged woman virtually throwing the winnings at you........

This.

Picked up 500 the other day and walked home to mine. Not that bad before you consider that the bookies was directly opposite Forest Gate station.
