1.55 Wetherby - Sam Spinner is a cut above Ardlethen and will take all the beating. Both won on their chase debuts, Sam Spinner a little better. Ardlethen's form has taken a hit as the horse he beat got pummelled today. Back when they were hurdling, our selection had a 24lb better peak rating. Go max stakes on this, 4/5 still available in places.

2.05 Uttoxeter - Steady Away made his hurdle + seasonal debut here finishing a good second behind a horse who was running in his second hurdle race (after finishing second). That one won this race and then fra.nked the form with a fine win last week too. Lots of opposition here are point to pointers, hurdle and seasonal debutants etc. Our selection is second favourite behind one who did well in its debut hurdle race before being outclassed in a graded affair. However, this one is making its seasonal debut and is also running over this 2m4f distance for the first time so has plenty of questions to answer. 1pt stake, taking the value at 7/2 currently.

Five for tomorrow, pm me if you want write-ups.

1.35 Ascot - Doctor Dex
2.25 Down Royal - Clan Des Obeaux (seriously hot race this one)
2.45 Ascot - Lisp
3.05 Wetherby - Unowhatimeanharry
3.40 Wetherby - La Bague Au Roi (another top race)

Then the Ascot Gold Cup at 3.20, another cracker. Wide open handicap where I'm leaning towards Mister Malarky.

I’m quite frankly bewildered by the 18/1 on offer for Robin The Raven in the 3.10 at Newbury. Has won four of seven hurdle races, is only effectively a few pounds higher than an easy win a couple of races ago. The yard is firing and the conditional jockey on board is a good one. Had him down as a 6-1 kind of chance myself so 18s is huge. Nine runners too so ideal EW play.

Douvan is the almighty god, comes back from 550 days and does that to secure massive profit.

I added La Cavsa Nostra, did all 4 of them in a yankee. £22 returned £299.30. Then did Douvan and La Cavsa (11/10) in singles and double. And Burlesque queen/tintangle in singles and EW double. Big day :D

Had another belter today with Happy Diva [14/1 SP] and Allmankind [11/2 price taken early] going in to give me 5x stake return on my EW yankee and plenty of £ from singles, forgot to post here though!...

So here's tomorrow's if I can keep this good run going.

Cheltenham 12.45 - Volcano 0.5pt EW 20/1
Punchestown 13.40 - Future Proof 2pt 5/2
Cheltenham 13.50 - Getaway Trump 2pt 6/4
Cheltenham 14.25 - Politologue -NB- 3pt 13/8
Cheltenham 1500 - Benny's Bridge -NAP- 1.5pt EW 6/1. Make sure you use a firm that pays enhanced places here... Skybet paying 6pl. even though there's only 15 runners.

f*** sakes

Getaway Trump probably wins if he doesn't plough through the last, Politologue just outclassed & Benny's Bridge must have had something wrong with him.

Ascot 2.40 - The Kings Writ 9/2
Ascot 3.15 - Orchardstown Cross 11/2
Ascot 3.45 - Speed Company 9/2
Newcastle 4.30 - Jonboy 11/2

I'm quite keen on the latter three. The Kings Writ is iffy as the trainer is well out of form, but the horse doesn't know that does he so...

Thinking I might just keep it simple and fun with a low stakes EW lucky 15 - good luck if you play. I will be going big on Saturday, some mouthwatering clashes in the 2 main races of the day...

Kings Writ ran ok in third, annoyingly the non runner meant only top two placed, despite a humongous drift all day,

ABSOLUTELY HUGE day tomorrow. Altior v Cyrname AND Bristol de Mai v Lostintranslation (and Frodon) up at Haydock. Hopefully some of the old timers will make a reappearance to this thread as it's dying :arry:

I follow the thread mate but don't really post. Love the National hunt season.

Everybody in the news seems to be talking about the Altior, Cyrname rematch possibly in the King George but i thought Lostintranslation looked good yesterday too!.

Landed on the following, all Newbury.

12.15 - Coconut Splash, 1pt 4/1
12.45 - Khage, 1pt 5/1
1.50 - Kalashnikov, 2pt 11/4
2.25 - Black Op, 1pt 4/1

Will also be backing Faustinovick based on what I've read on here (Twitter), and like a Paisley Park-Unowhatimeanharry straight forecast.
