Ah ha! Mega beat me over here!
The Premier League Fantasy Draft info is:
https://draft.premierleague.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
With code 57735-17150
Draft is 8pm on Thursday 10th August so we start just before first Premier League game on Friday night.
I guess you lads used to the NFL game will be more accustomed to the draft format than those of us that play traditional Fantasy Premier League!
P.S. sorry for the hijack - I'll leave you to it now!

What day were you hoping for? trying to avoid weekend because people are usually busy, Friday nights too. Work night about 8pm is normally best?

Wouldn't 6pm - 9pm on a Sunday evening be best? That's when we've done it before.
After all, this is the NFL thread and it's fairly safe to assume that people are generally around at these times, as it's when the actual matches take place?

i think it is the best compromise, but i'd like a bit more attendance!

The way things are going, if the 3 don't get back, we may have to cut the teams down to 13 and find 1 extra player for a 14 team league.

Only the top 3 have replied and politely declined as they likely couldn't fully commit.

It'll be a 32 team league at this rate!

You'd have thought so, but they have been - along with JohnSissonsWasMyHero - emailed directly by the NFL League admin, sent a PM already by Dyl some time ago and now a further PM by myself.warp wrote:florida and bubbles&squeak have not logged in a couple of weeks, but i think they'll be in.
Surely at some point, if the dedication was there, there would have at least been some form of acknowledgement. Other problems/issues notwithstanding, of course.
On the face of it!antony wrote:It'll be a 32 team league at this rate!
However, the fact remains that we only have 13 confirmed starters.
3 existing players have yet to respond to multiple messages and no one else has said they'll join, so it's looking more like a 13 team league than a 32 at this point!
If we can get just 3 people to say they'd join, we at least know that we'd have our 16, by way of existing players confirming by Friday, or by first come, first serve new players thereafter.

Yeah I wasn't serious. Just hope we can get the 16 teams again. I like the deep league

Re: NFL Fantasy League 2017/18: New Season details from page 171
We may need to have a discussion on here at some point, as to whether we cut a couple and go with 14, or risk starting the season with no guarantees that 2-3 players will be focused on the season, let alone the draft.
Re: NFL Fantasy League 2017/18: New Season details from page 171
14 is still a deep league though, so not the end of the world. I'm happy with 14 if the three don't come back to confirm by the end of the week.antony wrote:Yeah I wasn't serious. Just hope we can get the 16 teams again. I like the deep league
Compromise obviously for the draft day/time - but there needs to be more attendance than last year. so it can't be after a West Ham match when half the group are travelling/pissed, hence why during the week seemed likely best.

Re: NFL Fantasy League 2017/18: New Season details from page 171
Yeah 14 is fine with me. Better 14 committed players than 16 with ghostships.
Obviously it's not great for stoney as I'm guessing he's at work, but the draft time is fine with me at the moment. If it gets knocked back to September I might have a few struggles but as things stand it's perfect.

Regarding the draft, I'd be happy to have a later one, 10pm/11pm if it means it's best for everyone concerned.

Re: NFL Fantasy League 2017/18: New Season details from page 171
Time zone is my issue, sadly. I live in Michigan, so it's 3pm and I don't have access to a PC/mobile phone at all times as I work at a hospital. I'm happy with any time at the weekend and also any time on Wednesdays which I'm always off.
Doing four 10 hour shifts is a piece of piss, really.

Happy to move to a weekend because of time-zones. Like I say, just needs to be uncomplicated by West Ham playing.

Re: NFL Fantasy League 2017/18: New Season details from page 171
Does a Wednesday work for other people? As stoney can do Wednesdays could we shuffle it to the day before? Hopefully that'd remove the West Ham playing issue and the problem of people being busy at weekends.
