Anderson will win it. Absolutely brushed Klaasen aside with ease.

That 9 dart finish! :o

Cracking final, 34 maximums and a 170 checkout, I'm glad that Andersen won but fair play to Lewis he played his part.

How much are tickets to the darts?

When I looked they were all £150+ which surely can't be right?

What is the fascination with this game, my dad played for years. every time he dragged me along I got bored and went home,

And whats with the middle aged blocks thinking they look cool in a shirt designed by Jackson Pollock

I know some call it a sport but it's game just wish they'd put shove H'appney on TV would be more compelling .
Or we could have a five set cribbage match followed the final of the all England Dominoes, just don't see as this ( darts) is worthy of so much air time.

BDO - yeah, they look very amateurish in comparison.

briefly , darts was run by the bdo , until the best players then fell out with the governing body and formed the pdc ,

BDO still runs grass roots and amateur darts so majority of players do start off playing BDO tour but very soon switch if any good. Only old bdo stalwarts like Martin adams, Tony o shea and Scott waited keep it propped up. Even as recent as five years ago the gap in quality between the two (with the exception of Phil Taylor) wasn't too great but now they are world's apart in quality. Shame as Lakeside is a superb sporting venue.

There are a couple of tournaments now where BDO and PDC players mix ie grand slam of darts, and within ten years I doubt the BDO will even exist. I reckon Lakeside will just become another major tournament on the PDC tour bit not be classified as world championship

PDC World Champs started yesterday.

He's been going like a steam train but I have a feeling someone will beat MvG somewhere along the line
