I'm having a nightmare this season. Not even getting good numbers on the straight game!

To be fair though, who would've called the Buccaneers scoring 55 points against the Rams? Madness.

Wiped out almost a third of the Yahoo knockout pool.

My picks are in. I have just noticed the little "I" button - so that's where I have been going wrong. It's not a straight "A will beat B exercise.£ Doh!

Yes, vs. the spread. The preferred challenge for degenerate gamblers everywhere!

bet very few had the Texans winning at K.C.

:scarfer:

hell, if this score holds up, not many will have the Jets beating the Cowboys either.... 21-9 right now...oops int. thrown by Darnold...

well the Cowboys are back in it with a t.d. to make it 21-16 with about 6+ minutes to go......I imagine those not many souls who went today are now squirming in their seats..

Holy Moley - final drive (probably)

pass int
pass int
pass int Jets - consecutive plays
holding - next play
illegal block in the back - next play Cowboys
pass int - next play Jets
run
inc pass
t.d. Cowboys - Prescott run 22-24
go for 2pts - inc pass - whoa should have been pass int not called
onside kick recovered by Jets

could they have tried any harder to lose this game ?

:D

How 'bout them Cowboys? Losers of 3 in a row. Jerry says it's not the coach's fault. Keep it up fellas!!

Eagles lose too. Meaning the Giants are just one game back!

although the Texans won and played well, it was penalty penalty penalty I think maybe a total 13 or so by half time !!!!!!!

it was such a difficult watch at times.......

Even though he's a tactical genius and a solid motivator, Andy Reid's downfall is always his team's lack of discipline.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the Lone Star state...

NFL teams are 90-1 since 1991 when they win time of possession, total yards, turnovers, pick up 25 first downs, and convert at least 10 or more 3rd down attempts.

Dallas' loss to the Jets on Sunday is the one loss.

Texans/Chiefs

penalties: 10/70 and 11/79

21 penalties....

:asleep:

Cowboys/Jets

penalties: 9/68 and 8/105

17 penalties most of which seemed to come on that last drive of the Cowboys.

as I say, the Texans game was a real painful watch at times....................

Lions got absolutely robbed by the refs vs the Pack. Two huge miscalls that directly cost the Lions 10 pts against. Farcical.

saw that on the national news....

NFL backed one call and apologised for the other ? did I hear that correctly ?

can't the coaches throw the red flag for those calls ? pass interference is included now, I know because the Texans threw the red flag and got overruled on Sunday but the Cowboys Giants game had the same play and it was called.

and this is the league that mastered VAR ?

There were other non calls or wrong calls made as well, but the 2 illegal hand to face calls directly killed the Lions. It just shouldn't happen.

Still some mad results going on. Jets for example and yeah didn't see that Chiefs loss coming either.

49er's - whats happened here? 5-0!

Oh, and cut the lead by two in the Pick'em pool. I'm coming for you!

My picks are in. I think I'm doing much worse after checking the I button.

On the upside: Go Hawks. Looking good so far.

Texans are doing my brain in.

NINE penalties so far today. I think they said 4 or might have been 5 1st downs due to penalties. still 3rd quarter - Brossett throws for 4 t.d.s so far...

Houston has one of the best young QB's in the NFL.

Indy has one of the best young Head Coaches in the NFL

If I could only have one I'd take the latter every time.
