Correction, it was the Welsh OpenBelgian Iron wrote:
Ronnie potted that last black, yes. But there was another moment somewhere in China where he purposely potted a pink instead of a black when he was on 13 blacks or something. So he ended up on a 146.

Re: Snooker
Judd Trump is putting on a clinic this Final. (15-7)
Don't think any player could compete with this.

And he could've easily been beaten by Un-Nooh or Ding in the first or second round.
Shows how this sport is 80% about the mental strength.

Re: Snooker
Well done, lad.
Also, 3 Finals in a row binned for the scotch cheat. Highly enjoyable. Still, plenty time for a big plate of pasta, eh, he's obviously starving and malnourished.

Re: Snooker
Maybe not the classic battle I would have liked but Trump was untouchable from the second session yesterday. Higgins didn't really do a lot wrong, Trump just played his best snooker when it mattered, in the Final.
Gary Wilson's shot of the tournament was a very worthy winner, as good a snooker as you'll ever see.

Re: Snooker
Would have been sad if a player like him had never won a world title.
He'll no doubt go on to win more.
One of my sporting heartbreaks is that Jimmy never won it.
Well done to the more sensible and sane ....of the Trumps.

Still a close call for the coveted "Trump with most ludicrous haircut" title.davids cross wrote:Well done to the more sensible and sane ....of the Trumps.

Re: Snooker
Higgins at his best would have taken it to the wire. I think he will actually come back stronger next season - he has been practicing with Maguire and some other pros, and it coincides with him playing much, much better.Chicken Run Supreme wrote:Maybe not the classic battle I would have liked but Trump was untouchable from the second session yesterday. Thought Trump would win after he destroyed OSullivan at the Masters - he has a higher level than anyone else at the moment.
Peak Hendry is still the best for me, followed by OSullivan Davis and John Higgins (in no set order)

Re: Snooker
I think Trump will kick on and win 3-5 World titles now.
I'm another one who thought Wilson's shot of the championship was a blinder. Nice to see a safety shot win too.
