It's the only way they'd have a chance of beating us, bless them... :D

Remind me again how much money is being poured into English Rugby ?

Think you should double it .

Just to make things fair you should introduce more bonus points , kick out Italy and play all the games over one weekend at Twickenham .

If Wales had to play 5 Cup Finals to win a GS, like England do, they'd pick up far fewer than they do.

In the 21st Century, Wales have played England 27 times and won 9. Go back to 1990, and Wales have won 11 of 37 games, with England winning the other 26. Recent history suggests Wales have a LONG way to go before they achieve anything like parity with their hated rivals.

Yes, it's definitely the money, that's why France are doing so well....

Managed to wangle a last minute hospitality ticket for Twickenham tomorrow in the Player's Lounge. Just hope Ireland can do us a favour and make sure our game has something riding on it!

Good to see Ireland overrule Wales request to close the roof , rugby is an outdoor sport and the elements should be a part of the game, the fact wales closed the roof then waterlogged the pictch in a previous six nations game against Ireland , shows Wales reason of heavy rain affecting the spectacle was all b*llocks

It's going to be an interesting weekend with 3 countries still in the competition - I'd like to wish you all the very best of luck whether you're Irish , English or Welsh .

May the best team win .

Shame the Wales and England games haven’t had their kick offs reversed, what with the taffs looking for a Slam (which they’re going to win).

When England went to Ireland and beat hem I genuinely thought that was it , England were going to sweep all before them - if England could beat Ireland who were the favourites for the competition then they could beat everyone . Make no mistake Ireland are still a great Rugby team and still the team to beat , I've got a bad feeling about this game .
Should we win then so be it , we'll have won the Grand Slam but England [ and Ireland ] have a great squad of players and this year's competition could have been won by any of those 3 countries , it just depended on Home advantage and Wales have been fortunate to draw both of their nearest rivals at Home - makes a difference .

I still think England could sneak in and win it and to be honest it would be well deserved but obviously it being Warren Gatland's last 6 Nations game as Manager of Wales it would be superb and pretty special for him to end his career in Wales with another Grand Slam .

Good Luck , Everyone .

I've never seen a ref giving everything to one side like in this Wales game. Unreal.

Fair play to Wales, but that was one of the weakest Slams in recent history. Compared to some of their recent Slams, which saw some scintillating home and away wins, this was a relative walkover. Still, AWJ is a colossus and deserves every success.

16 - 0 down to France , behind against England yeah , that was a weak Grand Slam . :)

Wales could only beat what was in front of us and we beat the lot of them , very much deserved .

Imagine if we'd been allowed to keep the roof shut .

Dan - I do drink , got a pint in front of me now - Orange & Lemonade .

Anyway , lads , better luck next year .

You only “beat” one team, with an excellent second half performance in the Cup Final. France gave you that win, and you know it. You can’t possibly compare that favourably with the 2005, 2008 or 2012 Slams.

31-0 after 30 minutes. Scotch need a boot up the backside.
