I have no idea why Oregon still have Herbert in the game. They’re crushing USC & Trojans are taking cheap shots at him now. Just plain stupid.

Just saw the greatest, if not o noxious, onside kick I’ve ever seen. It 💯 came from studying the film on Maryland too. OSU figures out that the Md cover man on the far left lane collapses to the middle right before the kick, so the OSU kicker chipped the ball 25 yards to that flank and an OSU player caught it in the air at full sprint. It was a thing of beauty. If only West Ham had a player that could cross like that. I’ll post vid when I find it.

And the Minn v PSU game has bee excellent so far. 14-10 to the gophers in the 1st.

Minnesota can play. Their offense is overrunning PSU’s D right now.

UM just got screwed on PSU’s 3rd td. Handoff was made nearly 2 seconds after the play clock ran out.

This LSU v Bama game is starting like the Giants v 49ers in ‘86. That unforced fumble on the LSU 5 yd line and they’ve just made mistake after mistake since. If LSU can take advantage this could get ugly.

LSU aren’t going to close this out until they figure out how to get some pressure on Tua. He’s got all the time he needs.

Long way to go, but a LSU v OSU championship could be a great one.

down 2 scores (or up) and they don't drop everyone in coverage ?

but to be fair hanging 46 on Alabama in Tuscaloosa is something in itself..

mind you sticking 41 on LSU is no mean feat.........

they HAVE to be no. 1 beating no. 3 away from home ?

plus Ohio State played no one......

belter of a game though, kept me into it for 3 hours plus !!!! (had to watch the genius that is Messi first)

:D

Yeah, you cant count OSU’s game today. It was garbage time. They have beaten some good teams though, and they’ve got some tough games left. After another garbage game next week they’ve got Penn State and Michigan plus the Big 10 championship. All that aside, theyre the real deal. Both teams are. Burrow came from OSU so Im sure he has an axe to grind. That should up the ante too. But like I said, long way to go.

Tua didn't seem 100% on Saturday. Would have been a tough call to sit him however

Committee has made sure there's a road back for Bama though. They're ranked 5th with both LSU and Georgia above them, and presumably those two have to play each other in SEC Championship game. If Georgia wins then there are three 1 loss teams in the SEC. Georgia lost to a crap South Carolina team, but the did beat LSU, so if Georgia beats LSU decisively, then maybe Alabama will have had the best loss and sneaks in...or maybe they take 2 SEC teams, Clemson and Ohio State-Minnesota winner of the Big 10?

Minnesota moved up to 9thbut still a ways to go. Plus their game this Saturday against Iowa has trap/letdown potential.

couple of I guess stand-out games today (rankings wise that is)

#10 Oklahoma @ #13 Baylor 6:30 CST

#4 Georgia @ #12 Auburn 2:30 CST

#23 Navy @ #16 Notre Dame 1:30 CST might be pretty interesting.....

the first two will keep me interested on an International Break weekend......

Texans @ the Ravens tomorrow which will be a tough ask.....

We'll see if Georgia is ready for Auburn's defense, which has probably 4 or 5 NFL starters on it.

Nice to see Nebraska give Scott Frost a contract extension and then go out and get pantsed at home by Wisconsin.

tua tagovailoa got carted off, couldn't walk and according to reports was helicoptered back to Birmingham.

serious injury seemingly - was his last series with the team up 37 - something.

missed field goal on first possession for Auburn

first blood - 50 yard t.d. to the Bulldogs..........

holy moley N.D. all over Navy - 38-3 looks like the 2nd half just started...
